FirFurd P848847 12-Compartment Bookcase, White, 120 x 30 x 188.7 cm

Keep books, records and display pieces organised in one place with the FirFurd P848847 bookcase. Its tall, double-row layout makes practical use of vertical space in a living room, study or dining area.

Twelve open compartments give you room to group items by type, while keeping them visible and easy to reach. The white finish and modern style suit a range of interiors.

Made from engineered wood, it has 1.5 cm thick shelves and a raised base. It can stand freestanding or be mounted to the wall, assembly is required.

Quick overview

The six-level design provides twelve separate compartments for books, stationery, records, ornaments, photo frames and household items. Use the open layout to keep everyday reading together, or arrange favourite pieces alongside books to make storage part of the room’s display. In a kitchen or dining area, it can also hold tableware and other household essentials.

Each compartment is designed to support up to 15 kg, and the raised bottom tier supports up to 25 kg. This makes it useful for a mix of lighter decorative pieces and heavier items such as books. Customers have praised the straightforward assembly, solid feel, appearance and storage capacity. These comments reflect individual buyers’ experiences, while the practical appeal is clear in the combination of open compartments and a tall, space-conscious footprint.

Quick sizing guide

The unit measures 120 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 188.7 cm high. Allow room for its full height and width when choosing a position, and consider how you will move it into the room before assembly. Its 30 cm depth keeps the footprint relatively compact while providing a broad set of storage compartments. Compared with spreading items across several low units, this vertical format brings books and display pieces together in one organised area.

Best use cases

In a study, use the compartments to separate books, stationery and records, so frequently used items have a clear place. In a living room, combine reading material with ornaments, vases or photo frames for a practical display. The open shelves also suit a dining area or kitchen where tableware and household items need accessible storage.

For a day-to-day setup, place books by subject or size and reserve a few compartments for items you want to keep visible. Assembly is required, and the unit can be used freestanding or mounted to the wall. The manufacturer recommends securing it with anti-tip devices for added safety around children and pets.

Buying verdict

Choose this FirFurd bookcase when you want substantial open storage in a single tall unit rather than a series of smaller shelves. Its twelve compartments, 120 cm width and 188.7 cm height help bring books and household or decorative items into one clear arrangement, while the raised base and reinforced 1.5 cm shelves support practical everyday use. It makes sense if you want a white, modern shelving unit for a study, living room or dining space, with the option to mount it to the wall.
