Feandrea BAX Collection PDC60Z Soft-Sided Pet Carrier, Foldable Mesh, 60 x 42 x 42 cm

For a drive to a campsite or a stay away from home, the Feandrea PDC60Z gives a pet a soft-sided space that can be folded flat when it is not needed.

Its three mesh access points and windows offer airflow and visibility, while the handle and side pockets make it easier to manage the carrier and small travel items.

The stated size is 60 x 42 x 42 cm, and the carrier is recommended for dogs weighing up to 11 kg. Measuring your pet before choosing it is important, as weight alone does not establish whether they will have enough room.

Best use cases

This carrier is intended for travel and temporary indoor use: the product information lists car journeys, camping, hotel stays and use at home. Its foldable frame is useful if you want a carrier that can be put away between trips rather than left assembled as a permanent crate. It is also described as quick to assemble without tools, which suits occasional set-up in a room or at a destination.

Three mesh doors, including a top opening, provide different ways to access the interior, and mesh panels allow your pet to see out. For a short journey, that layout may make it easier to settle an animal in the carrier than a design with just one access point. The stated maximum dog weight is 11 kg, check your pet’s measurements against the 60 x 42 x 42 cm dimensions, particularly if they need room to turn around comfortably.

Benefits

The metal frame gives the soft fabric carrier its structure, while the 600D Oxford fabric has a PVC coating and is described as water- and stain-resistant. A removable faux-fleece mat adds a softer surface and can be taken out for cleaning. Self-locking zips are specified for the openings, and two side pockets provide space for items such as snacks or a collar.

Compared with a basic soft carrier with a single opening, the multiple mesh access points offer more flexibility for getting a pet in and out and letting them look around. It remains a soft-sided option, though, rather than a rigid crate. It suits you if portability, a collapsible design and several access points are priorities for travel or occasional use.

Buyers commonly praise the carrier’s structure, foldability and ease of use, and some describe it as roomy for their pets. Feedback on weight is mixed, with some finding it quite heavy. That is worth bearing in mind if you expect to carry it for long periods, even though it has a handle and can be folded for storage.

Buying verdict

The PDC60Z makes most sense for someone who wants a collapsible carrier for car travel, stays away from home or occasional use indoors, with mesh openings and a removable mat. Its stated size and weight guidance give you a starting point, but the fit depends on your pet’s measurements as well as their weight. It’s not for you if you specifically need a rigid-sided carrier, this design uses a metal frame with fabric sides. Also consider how often you will carry it by hand, as some buyer feedback describes the weight as noticeable. For this type of use, its practical strengths are the fold-flat format, multiple access points and storage pockets rather than a hard-shell construction.
