FEANDREA UPCA022G01 Cat Scratching Post with Sisal and Washable Perch

The woven sisal covering gives indoor cats space to scratch and stretch, while helping keep claws away from furniture. A raised perch adds a place to rest after play.

The dark grey post measures 45 x 40 x 71 cm, with a 40 x 30 cm perch and a broad base. The stated perch size makes it best suited to small and medium-sized cats.

Its removable perch cover can be washed, and the plush surface underneath remains available while the cover is off. Assembly is described as a four-step process.

Highlights

This FEANDREA model combines a full sisal-wrapped scratching surface with a raised resting spot, rather than offering only a basic floor-level scratcher. That makes it useful in a room where a cat needs both somewhere to work its claws and a perch for a quiet break. A hanging pompom adds a play feature, while the dark grey finish keeps the look fairly subdued.

The 45 x 40 cm base has anti-slip pads, and the product details also mention an anti-tip kit for wall attachment. These features are intended to support stability as a cat climbs or scratches, they do not replace choosing a suitable position and securing the post as directed. The unit weighs 4.8 kg, so it is a defined piece of furniture rather than a lightweight scratching mat that can be moved or stored away as easily.

In buyer feedback, owners often describe the post as sturdy and well made, and some say their cats took to it quickly. Its appearance and size also receive positive comments. These are individual impressions rather than a guarantee that every cat will use it or find the perch roomy.

Quick sizing guide

The overall footprint is 45 x 40 cm, and the perch measures 40 x 30 cm. The product is presented as suitable for small and medium-sized cats, so those dimensions are the key point to weigh up against your cat’s usual resting posture. If your cat prefers to stretch out across a larger platform, a bigger cat tree or bed may be a better match. The listed height is 71 cm, giving the cat a raised place to rest without taking up the space of a larger climbing structure.

It’s a good fit if you want one indoor item to combine scratching and a raised resting place. Not the best choice if your priority is a broad lounging platform for a large cat, the stated perch dimensions are relatively compact.

Usage tips

Place the post where your cat already spends time, such as near a resting spot or a window they like to watch from. The sisal surface provides a vertical scratching option, which differs from a flat cardboard scratcher, a flat alternative may suit a cat that prefers to scratch horizontally. The hanging pompom can offer an extra point of interest, but the main purpose remains scratching and resting.

Follow the supplied instructions for assembly and use the anti-tip attachment as directed if appropriate for your setup. For routine upkeep, the perch cover can be removed for washing. The product description also suggests using a lint roller on the rest of the cat tree, and notes that the plush surface remains available while the cover is being cleaned.

When it makes sense

Choose this post if your indoor cat would benefit from a dedicated sisal surface and a compact raised perch in the same footprint. It may be a practical alternative to buying a separate scratcher and resting spot, provided the perch dimensions suit your cat. If your main need is an extensive climbing frame or a larger lounging area, compare those dimensions with this model before deciding.
