FEANDREA PGW231G01 Orthopaedic Dog Bed with Egg-Crate Foam and Removable Cover
Product description
Raised sides give a dog somewhere to rest its head, while the egg-crate foam provides a supportive base. The FEANDREA PGW231G01 is a plush sofa-style bed intended for miniature and small dogs.
At 76 x 58 cm, it can create a dedicated resting spot beside a sofa, bed or window. It can also be placed in a dog crate or dog house, if the available space suits the bed.
The main choice is between a cosy, padded bed with sides and a simpler flat mat. This one prioritises a soft surface and a raised edge, its removable cover also makes routine cleaning more manageable.
Quick sizing guide
The stated size is 76 x 58 cm, with a height or thickness that is not consistent across the product information: the specifications give 23 cm, while the description gives 19 cm. Measure the space where you plan to put it, and consider how your dog tends to lie down rather than relying on the miniature or small-dog label alone. The raised sides take up part of the overall footprint, so allow for the full dimensions when choosing a spot.
The bed is described as suitable for miniature and small dogs, but no weight range is provided. If your dog stretches out fully, compare its resting space with the bed’s stated length and width before choosing it. That is more useful than assuming a particular breed will fit.
Why it’s worth it
The raised edges provide a place to lean the head and neck, while also giving the bed a more enclosed feel than a flat cushion. Inside, convoluted egg-crate foam is intended to spread support and improve airflow. The plush cover adds a warmer, softer surface, which may suit dogs that like to curl up rather than lie on a bare or firm mat.
The cover can be removed for washing, so you do not have to clean the foam filling as part of ordinary cover care. The product is also listed as non-slip and waterproof. Those features may be useful around everyday indoor use, but the information does not specify how much water the cover resists or how it performs on different floor surfaces.
You’ll like it if you want a cushioned, sofa-style resting place with sides and a washable cover. It’s not for you if you need to wash the entire bed: the inner filling is not washable. A basic flat mat may be easier to fit into a tight space, while a more demanding choice would need clearly specified dimensions and support details that are not provided here.

When it makes sense
This bed makes sense when you want to give a small dog a plush, raised-edge place to settle at home, and the stated footprint suits your room or crate. The washable cover is a practical advantage for surface cleaning, while the non-washable filling is worth factoring into your care routine.
Choose it for the combination of cushioned support, a soft surface and sides to lean against. If exact sizing is central to your decision, the differing height figures are a reason to seek clarification before buying, the available information does not resolve which measurement applies.
