Marvel G19945S0 Iron Man Giant-Sized Armour Iron Jet Set, 7.6 cm Figures

Quick overview

The 7.6 cm scale gives this Marvel playset two compact, poseable figures: Iron Man and Ultron. Alongside them are a giant-sized mech armour suit and an Iron Jet, creating a connected set for switching between figure-led scenes, mech action and vehicle adventures. The design is inspired by Disney Jr.’s Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends.

The set includes two projectiles, and the Iron Man figure can sit inside both the mech suit and the jet’s cockpit. With an opening rear hatch for storing the armour, the vehicle also gives children a practical way to bring the main play pieces together between adventures.

How to use it

Children can pose Iron Man and Ultron using their multiple points of articulation, then create a scene around the jet and armour. Seat Iron Man in the mech to act out an armour-up moment, or move him to the jet’s opening cockpit for a flight-inspired storyline. The playset is designed for children aged 3 and up, small parts may be generated, so it is not suitable for children under 3.

Compared with choosing a standalone figure, this set brings characters, a vehicle and a mech into one play setup. That makes it a useful choice for children who enjoy moving between character role-play and vehicle-based adventures, rather than focusing on one figure alone. For example, a play session can begin with Ultron facing Iron Man on foot, then shift to the mech and jet as the story develops.

Getting the most from it

The opening cockpit and rear hatch give the vehicle a clear role in play: Iron Man can take the pilot’s seat, while the armour can be stored inside the jet. Children can use the figures’ poseable joints to change their positions between scenes, and the included projectiles add another feature to incorporate into imaginative action play. The manual operation keeps the play focused on arranging the figures, vehicle and armour by hand.

Its Disney Jr. series styling also gives children a familiar starting point for recreating scenes or making up their own stories with Iron Man and Ultron. The plastic set is intended for imaginative play, role-play and interactive games, with the different pieces offering more ways to build a scene than a figure on its own.
