Walker's passive hearing protection earmuffs 23 dB
Product description
For people looking for reusable-style over-ear hearing protection with a folding design, Walker’s Low Profile Passive Folding Muff keeps the feature set straightforward: a contoured, low-profile cup, padded headband and soft PVC ear pads. The listed Noise Reduction Rating is 23 dB, and the product is described as ANSI S3.19 rated.
Its passive design needs no powered noise-cancelling features, but the listed rating is not a promise of the same result in every situation. Fit and how the muffs are worn matter.
Key specifications

- Rating: ANSI S3.19
- Design: Low-profile contoured cup

That covers the confirmed details without implying extra features such as adjustable sound control or a particular fit range. The low-profile shape is a design choice, the product information does not give dimensions or explain how it compares with other cup sizes. The folding format suggests a more stowable alternative to fixed, bulky earmuffs, though no folded measurements are provided.
Who it’s for
This may suit you if you want passive hearing protection with a stated 23 dB rating and prefer a contoured cup rather than a higher-profile design. For example, it could be the kind of pair you keep with other protective equipment and put on before a noisy task, rather than relying on earbuds or trying to block sound with ordinary headphones. The padded band and soft PVC pads are relevant if contact comfort is part of your choice, but there is no fit information for different head sizes.
It may not suit you if you need a specified level of protection beyond the stated rating, electronic features, or detailed guidance for a particular noise exposure. The product details do not describe those capabilities, so choose protection based on the requirements of your actual setting rather than assuming the listed rating covers every hazard. According to the manufacturer, the rating is ANSI S3.19 rated, that designation should not be taken as a guarantee of a particular real-world result.
Everyday use
The practical appeal is in the uncomplicated setup: place the muffs over your ears, with the cups sitting evenly, and use the padded headband to keep them in position. Soft PVC pads and a low-profile shape are the comfort-related details supplied, while the passive format keeps the design simpler than electronic hearing protection. The folding construction may also make them easier to put away between uses, although the listing gives no storage dimensions or details about a case.
There is a trade-off in that simplicity. These are not described as having adjustable attenuation, built-in communication, or any active feature, and the available information does not establish how they perform in a specific work or recreational setting. For occasional noise protection where a passive muff is appropriate, the stated rating and fit details give you a clear starting point, for a demanding environment, match the protection to its requirements first.

Final verdict
Choose these Walker’s muffs if you want a passive, folding design with a stated 23 dB rating, a low-profile contoured cup and soft PVC pads. Their appeal is the simple feature set, not a promise of electronic control or a tailored fit. If your decision depends on a specific workplace requirement, head-size guidance, or more detailed protection information, the listing does not provide enough detail to settle that choice on its own.
