Rapala fishing lure 09

The Rapala Scatter Rap Tail Dancer 09 is identified as a fishing lure, but the colour naming in the listing is inconsistent. The product name ends in “Bleak”, while the description repeatedly names “Golden Alburnus”. That matters if you’re choosing a lure to match a particular look, there isn’t enough reliable detail here to confirm which finish you would receive. Its clearest appeal is therefore the named Tail Dancer model, rather than any documented performance claim.

Key specifications

The product name identifies the brand as Rapala, the model family as Scatter Rap Tail Dancer, and the model marking as 09. “Bleak” appears in the product name, while “Golden Alburnus” appears in the description. Since those names do not match, treat the colour as unconfirmed instead of assuming they refer to the same finish. The listing provides no dependable details on dimensions, weight, diving depth, hooks, or other construction features, so those shouldn’t be used to judge fit for a specific setup.

That limited information also affects comparisons. If you’re picking between this and another lure based on a precise colour, size, or stated running depth, a listing with those details clearly confirmed is the easier choice to assess. Based on the available listing details, the 09 model name is the only clear differentiator beyond the product family.

Who it’s for

This is most relevant to anglers already looking for a Scatter Rap Tail Dancer and who can confirm the exact variant before buying. It may also suit someone who recognizes the model name and is comfortable checking the colour or other specifications with the seller. It’s a good option if the model family is what you’re searching for and the uncertain finish is not a deciding factor.

It may not suit you if colour matching is central to your choice, or if you need verified measurements and rig details before selecting a lure for a particular setup. Those are reasonable filters, not minor preferences: the listing doesn’t give enough information to settle them confidently.

Everyday use

A practical way to approach this listing is to decide what you need the lure to do in your tackle selection, then check whether the named variant and relevant specifications are confirmed before relying on it. For example, if you’re filling a gap with a specific finish, compare the product name against the item details you’ll actually receive, the Bleak/Golden Alburnus mismatch makes that check worthwhile. If you’re simply searching for the 09 Tail Dancer model, the name is useful, but it still doesn’t answer questions about size or running characteristics.

This is a more cautious purchase than choosing a lure page with a consistent colour name and fuller technical details. The trade-off is straightforward: this listing may help identify the model you want, but it leaves important selection details open.

Before you decide

Which colour is listed? The product name says Bleak, while the description says Golden Alburnus, so the finish is unclear.

Are dimensions provided? No dimensions or weight are included in the supplied details.

Is a running depth stated? No running-depth information is provided, so this listing cannot confirm suitability on that basis.

Final verdict

Choose this Rapala if the Scatter Rap Tail Dancer 09 is the specific model you’re seeking and you can verify the variant details before purchase. Skip it in favour of a more clearly documented listing if colour, dimensions, or running depth will determine whether it fits your fishing plan. The product name gives a useful starting point, but the conflicting colour labels and missing technical information limit how much you can decide from this page alone.
