Owntop Inflatable Belt Pack with 24g CO2 Cylinder

When a bulky flotation layer feels awkward during paddling or fishing, a low-profile option can make it easier to move. The Owntop inflatable belt pack is designed to sit around the waist and inflate manually with a pull cord, with a backup oral inflation tube included. Its listed uses include kayaking, fishing and other paddle sports. The trade-off is that it needs to be activated by the wearer, so it is not an automatic-inflation design.

What matters most

This adult swim jacket combines 300D Oxford fabric with TPU and weighs under 1 lb, according to the product details. The compact belt format is intended to leave movement less restricted than a bulkier flotation layer, which may appeal if you want room to paddle, cast or handle equipment. It also includes a reflective strip and emergency whistle.

The stated buoyancy is up to 100N, and the listing says a CO2 cylinder is included. That figure is presented as higher than the stated 75N standard, but it should not be treated as a substitute for checking the requirements that apply to your activity and location. Keep in mind that inflation is manual: the wearer has to pull the cord in an emergency. The listing gives an inflation time of 5 seconds, but that is a product claim rather than a guarantee for every situation.

How to use it

Wear it around the waist and adjust it to fit, then follow the product instructions for operating the pull cord and using the oral inflation tube. For example, while fishing from a kayak, the belt format is meant to keep your upper body freer for casting, if needed, the cord is the stated way to inflate it. The whistle and reflective strip provide additional listed safety features, but they do not replace a suitable flotation plan or the need to understand how the device works before heading out.

Practical tips

The stated fit range is waist sizes from 25 to 43 inches. The product is listed for adults aged 16+ years and weighing over 80 lbs, so use those limits when deciding whether the fit is appropriate. A secure, comfortable fit matters for a wearable device, if the waist range does not suit you, a different style or size will make more sense.

Compared with choosing a more substantial, continuously worn flotation style, this pack prioritizes a compact profile and movement. Puede interesarte si that balance suits your paddle-sport use and you are comfortable with manual activation. Quizá no encaja si you need a device that inflates automatically or want a conventional jacket-style fit. Store and handle the included CO2 cylinder according to its instructions, and make sure the backup oral tube is accessible.

Before you decide

Is the CO2 cylinder included? The product description says a 24g CO2 cylinder is included.

Is there another way to inflate it? Yes. A backup oral inflation tube is listed alongside the pull-cord activation.

What extras are included? The description names a reflective strip and an emergency whistle, as well as the cylinder and oral tube.

For your situation

Choose this Owntop belt pack if a low-profile format for kayaking, fishing or paddle sports matters more to you than a traditional jacket-style feel, and its stated waist and wearer limits fit. The fabric details, included cylinder and listed buoyancy give you useful points to compare, but they do not establish suitability for every water activity. If you would rather not rely on pulling a cord when flotation is needed, or the fit range does not match, look at another type of device instead.
