Veehoo VH07CACWPT2606CP30LA02 Folding Dog Ramp, 79-Inch Long, 20-Inch Wide

At 79 inches long and 20 inches wide, the Veehoo dog ramp gives dogs a broad, gradual route into a car or truck. Its non-slip rug surface provides traction underfoot, while the metal construction supports a load of up to 150 lbs.

The four-fold design and carry handle make it easier to move between outings and store in a vehicle or at home.

Where it shines

For a dog that finds a high vehicle step difficult, a ramp offers an alternative to being lifted. The extended length creates a gentler incline, and the 20-inch width gives dogs room to place their paws as they climb. That can be useful for senior dogs, dogs recovering from an injury, or dogs that are hesitant around high steps. It also suits everyday trips when you want your dog to get into the vehicle using a clear, ramp-style path.

The rug surface is designed to provide grip across the ramp, helping dogs feel more secure as they walk. Buyers also highlight the carpet’s traction and describe the ramp as sturdy and stable during use. These are customer impressions, while the product’s listed load capacity is up to 150 lbs.

Compared with lifting a dog or relying on vehicle steps, this ramp provides a longer walking surface. Its width, surface and gradual incline make it a practical approach for dogs that benefit from more room and a less abrupt climb.

What to know

The ramp is made from metal and has a non-slip rug surface. It folds into four sections and includes a handle for carrying, so it can be moved between the car and home and stored in a trunk, closet or under a bed. The compact folded format is useful when you want a ramp available for trips without leaving it fully extended between uses.

For climbing support, the design includes a safety buckle, cross support rod and latch switch. These features are intended to help secure the ramp during use. Its 150-lb capacity makes it suitable for many small, medium and large dogs, including breeds such as Corgis, Border Collies and American Pit Bull Terriers, provided the dog’s weight is within that limit.

Practical tips

Unfold the ramp before your dog approaches the vehicle, then use the buckle, cross support rod and latch switch as designed. Give your dog space to approach and step onto the rug surface at its own pace, the wider path and gradual incline are intended to help dogs adjust to climbing. After the trip, fold the ramp and use the handle to carry it to a suitable storage spot.

Should you buy it?
