Lesguyor SLZT-7P Foldable Dog Car Stairs, 17-Inch Wide, 7 Steps

Some dogs can manage a gradual climb but need help getting into a vehicle without making one big jump. The Lesguyor SLZT-7P provides seven wide steps and a gentle slope for access to cars, SUVs and truck beds. Would a steady, step-by-step route make loading easier for your dog? Its folding design also makes it practical to keep on hand between trips.

Usage tips

Before choosing a setup, measure the vehicle’s door opening and the height the stairs need to reach. The adjustable height extends to 31.5 inches, helping you position the steps for different vehicle heights. Secure the safety carabiner to the trunk latch before your dog climbs, and use the stairs on a stable surface.

For a daily routine, unfold the stairs beside the vehicle and let your dog approach at a comfortable pace. The longer incline and seven-step layout are designed to reduce the need for a large jump, which can be helpful for senior dogs, large breeds and pets hesitant about steep climbs. When you’re finished, press the step support board to fold the stairs, then carry them by the handle and tuck them into a trunk corner or closet. The same step-up access can also be used beside a high bed or couch.

To fold the unit for storage, press the support board, the compact folded shape is suited to keeping the stairs in a vehicle or at home.

Where it shines

These stairs suit car journeys where a dog needs a gradual route into the vehicle rather than a single leap. The 17-inch-wide steps give large dogs room to climb, and the adjustable height helps match the setup to the vehicle. The carabiner attaches to the trunk latch, while the padded handle helps protect the vehicle’s paint as you carry the stairs. For wet-weather walks or muddy outings, the textured step surfaces and hose-rinseable materials make cleanup straightforward.

A steep ramp or direct jump may suit a different loading routine, this stair design focuses on a series of smaller steps and a gentle incline. It also offers a practical alternative to lifting a dog into a high vehicle, with a folding format that can be stored between uses. Measure your vehicle’s opening and step height before ordering so you can select a suitable position for the stairs.

Is it worth it?

For owners who want to help a dog reach a vehicle more gradually, the Lesguyor SLZT-7P brings together a seven-step climb, adjustable height and a folding design. Its wide, textured steps support a steadier approach, while the carabiner attachment and padded handle address the practical details of using it beside a vehicle. It’s a useful fit for regular trips with senior dogs, large breeds or pets that hesitate at steep climbs, and it can also provide step access to a high bed or couch at home.
