Best use cases
Choose Together for a horror film night with a story that puts a couple’s relationship at the centre of the suspense. Tim and Millie are at a crossroads when they move away from their familiar lives, the threat they encounter puts their love and their bodies in danger. That combination gives the film a personal angle alongside its supernatural premise, making it a fit for viewers who enjoy horror shaped by character conflict as well as an unnatural force.
The disc format suits anyone building a Blu-ray collection or choosing a physical release for a planned movie night. If you’re deciding between a film disc and a different kind of horror story, this one has a specific focus: relationship tension intertwined with a nightmarish encounter, rather than a premise built only around the threat itself.

Where it shines
The move to the country gives Tim and Millie a clear turning point: they leave behind what is familiar, but still have each other. As tensions rise, the mysterious force threatens their relationship and their physical selves. How does a supernatural threat change a story about a couple already struggling? Here, the horror is tied directly to what is happening between the two leads, giving the film’s premise an intimate source of unease.
The featurettes add bonus material to the film presentation, offering another reason to choose this edition if you like exploring content beyond the main feature. At 1 hour and 42 minutes, the runtime is also a practical detail when setting aside time for a full viewing. The Canadian rating is Ages 14 and over, a useful reference when selecting a film for a household movie night.
