Soundcore Boom 2 Plus A3134 Portable Speaker, 140W Stereo, IPX7, Bluetooth 5.3

The blue portable-speaker format makes the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus easy to bring along for camping, beach days and other outings. Its 140W maximum output, 2+2 stereo arrangement and IPX7 waterproof, floatable design bring powerful, flexible listening to spaces where a typical indoor speaker may not suit the setting.

Bluetooth 5.3 provides wireless playback, while a built-in power bank can charge a cell phone or another essential on the go.

Strengths

The Boom 2 Plus pairs dual 50W woofers with dual 20W tweeters for stereo sound with deep lows and clear highs. BassUp 2.0 boosts the maximum output from 100W to 140W, and smart crossover technology balances the different drivers. For outdoor gatherings, that combination gives you a speaker designed to make music a central part of the space rather than background audio from a small portable device. Want to tailor the sound to different playlists? Customizable pro EQ lets you fine-tune the audio to suit your listening preferences.

Its IPX7 waterproof construction and floatable design make it suitable for listening by the pool, at the beach or in the rain. The built-in power bank adds a practical extra: it can deliver a 10W charge to a phone or another essential while you’re away from a wall outlet. Auracast also lets you link multiple speakers when you want sound across a larger space.

Buyers have praised the speaker’s sound, battery life and build, and some also appreciate its boombox-style appearance. These are customer impressions, while the documented features provide the clearest guide to what the speaker offers.

What to know

The A3134 is a Bluetooth speaker with 2+2 audio channels and a stated maximum output of 140W. Soundcore lists up to 20 hours of playtime, actual playtime varies with volume and the content being played. For charging, pair it with a 30W charger for a full charge in about 3 hours. The power bank’s 10W output is intended for charging a phone or other essentials, so the speaker can serve as both an audio source and a useful portable power option.

Compared with a compact speaker with a simpler driver layout, the Boom 2 Plus offers separate woofers and tweeters, customizable EQ and the option to link multiple speakers. That makes it a fitting approach for listeners who want more control and a fuller setup for outdoor use.

Practical tips

For the stated full-charge time, use a 30W charger. To make the most of the battery during a longer outing, adjust the volume to suit the setting, playtime depends on both volume and playback content. Use the customizable pro EQ to shape the sound for your music, and the built-in power bank when a cell phone or another essential needs a 10W charge. For a wider listening area, Auracast supports linking multiple speakers.

Final verdict

A solid pick if you want a portable speaker for outdoor listening that combines high maximum output with a waterproof, floatable design. The dual-woofer and dual-tweeter layout, adjustable EQ, long stated playtime and phone-charging power bank make the Boom 2 Plus especially useful for beach trips, poolside listening and camping, where one device can handle both music and a little extra power.
