Soundcore A3134 Boom 2 Plus Portable Bluetooth Speaker, 140W, IPX7

In a 44.2 x 22.8 x 15.1 cm format, the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is built to bring substantial stereo sound to outdoor gatherings. Its black plastic enclosure and portable design suit a tabletop setup at the beach, campsite or party.

The A3134 pairs dual 50W woofers with dual 20W tweeters for a 2+2-channel sound setup, with up to 140W maximum output and BassUp 2.0. That combination gives music room for deep bass and clear highs.

Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to play audio from a compatible phone, laptop or tablet. IPX7 waterproofing and a floatable design add practical flexibility around the pool, in the rain or by the water.

Strengths

The Boom 2 Plus is designed for more than background listening. Its dual woofers and tweeters, together with smart crossover technology, help deliver a fuller stereo presentation for group listening, while BassUp 2.0 boosts output for music with a stronger bass presence. Customizable Pro EQ lets you adjust the sound to suit different tracks and listening preferences.

For time away from an outlet, the speaker offers up to 20 hours of playtime, actual playtime varies with volume and playback content. Its built-in power bank can also provide a 10W charge to a phone or another essential, making it useful for a day outdoors when keeping both music and a cell phone powered matters. RGB lighting adds a visual element for party settings.

What to know

For the stated three-hour full charge, use a 30W charger. Bluetooth provides wireless playback, and the speaker can also link with multiple speakers using Auracast for a broader listening setup. Its IPX7 waterproof rating and floatable design make it suited to listening by the pool or at the beach, keep charging equipment separate from wet conditions.

The 140W figure is the maximum output, while the listed playtime is an estimate affected by volume and content. These details help set expectations when planning a longer gathering. The speaker’s 3.8 kg weight and dimensions are also useful considerations when choosing how to transport and position it for an outing.

Who it’s for

This model suits listeners who want one portable speaker for outdoor music, small gatherings and party use, with bass-forward sound and stereo drivers rather than a simple compact speaker focused on personal listening. At a campsite, for example, place it on a stable surface, connect a phone over Bluetooth and use the customizable EQ to tailor the sound to the playlist. Its power-bank function can then provide a 10W charge to a phone when needed.

Buyer feedback often highlights the sound and deep bass, and some also appreciate the design and perceived power. Comments on reliability are mixed, so those impressions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a guarantee.

Is it worth it?

The Boom 2 Plus brings several useful outdoor features together: 140W maximum output, a 2+2-channel driver arrangement, IPX7 waterproofing, up to 20 hours of playtime and a built-in 10W power bank. That makes it a practical choice for buyers who want music to carry from a campsite to a beach gathering without relying on a fixed speaker setup.
