Sondiko GJD460 Propane Weed Torch, 10-ft Hose, Adjustable 24 in/37 in
Product description
The adjustable 24 in/37 in length gives this Sondiko propane torch two practical working setups. Its 10 ft hose lets you move around a work area while the propane tank stays separate from the torch handle. Use the longer assembly for garden and outdoor tasks, or switch to the shorter setup for closer work. The alloy steel construction and adjustable flame controls support a range of applications.

Getting the most from it
The detachable three-section design consists of a handle, extension pole and nozzle. Assemble all three sections for a longer reach when treating weeds or working on outdoor surfaces. For grilling, starting a campfire or detail work, use the handle and nozzle in the shorter configuration. This gives you a choice of reach without switching to a separate fixed-length torch for each kind of task.
The hose provides room to move around garden beds, driveways and other work areas. The gas control valve and turbo-boost trigger let you adjust the flame from a lower setting to a stronger jet, while the rubber-grip handle is shaped for a secure hold. Applications described for this torch include weed control, melting asphalt, clearing ice or snow, and outdoor grilling or fire starting. Choose the configuration that gives you suitable reach and control for the task at hand.
How to use it
Connect the torch to a propane tank, then fully tighten the gas connection before use. The tank is not included. Use the piezo igniter for match-free starting, and adjust the flame with the gas control valve and turbo-boost trigger. The longer configuration can help keep the nozzle farther from the user during reach-based outdoor work, the compact configuration is suited to closer tasks. Follow safe handling practices for propane and open flames, and keep the torch directed at the intended work area.
When it makes sense
This torch is a practical fit for someone who wants one propane tool for both longer-reach outdoor jobs and shorter, more focused tasks. For example, the extension pole can be used when working along a driveway or garden area, while the handle-and-nozzle setup offers a more compact format for lighting a campfire or grilling. If choosing between a fixed-length burner and a more adaptable design, the two length configurations and 10 ft hose are useful reasons to consider this Sondiko model.
Buyers often describe the torch as easy to set up and use, and some appreciate its performance for small weeds. Feedback on effectiveness is mixed, including comments about ignition and speed, so experiences vary. Its adjustable format remains useful for shoppers looking to handle different kinds of outdoor work with one torch.
