SuniqFyre GJD460 Propane Weed Torch, 500,000 BTU, 38.19-Inch Shaft

A 38.19-inch modular shaft lets you work on weeds between pavers while standing upright, reducing the need to crouch over each gap. The SuniqFyre GJD460 delivers up to 500,000 BTU for targeted weed control around paths and driveways. A push-button igniter starts the torch without a match, and the Turbo Trigger switches between a pilot flame and a full thermal blast.

Everyday use

Use this propane weed torch to treat growth in patio-stone joints, gravel paths and driveway cracks. Its two-piece extension shaft provides long reach for working along the ground, while the 10ft hose allows connection to larger propane tanks without keeping the tank in your hand. For a small spot treatment, it can also connect to a 1lb camping propane bottle. The listed maximum temperature is 1800 °C, giving the torch substantial heat for focused outdoor weed-clearing tasks.

Why it makes sense

The long shaft is a practical distinction from short-stem torches: it helps you reach ground-level weeds while standing more upright. The Turbo Trigger adds control over how the flame is used, moving from a pilot flame to a full blast when needed. A push-button Piezo igniter means startup does not require a match. At the hose connections, a dual O-ring seal and reverse-flow check mechanisms are designed to support secure operation.

Buyers often highlight ease of setup and use, and describe using the torch to clear weeds between patio stones. Their feedback points to a straightforward approach for treating growth in narrow hard-surface joints. Unlike hand-pulling, which addresses weeds one by one, this tool applies heat directly to the target area, use it with care around the surrounding surface and vegetation.
