Selore&S-Global USB-C Docking Station with Dual HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA

Connect a laptop to external displays, a keyboard and other desk accessories through one USB-C dock. Dual HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA outputs give you several ways to connect a monitor. USB-A and USB-C ports add room for everyday peripherals. The compact grey hub measures 5 x 3 x 1.2 cm.

Benefits

This dock brings video, data and charging connections together in one hub, helping keep a laptop workspace organized. Its video outputs include two HDMI ports, DisplayPort and VGA, so you can choose a connection that matches the displays at your desk. The HDMI outputs support 4K at 60 Hz and 4K at 30 Hz, while DisplayPort supports 4K at 60 Hz and VGA supports 1080p. When VGA is connected, the maximum resolution across all displays is 1080p.

For a desk setup that also needs accessories, the dock has two USB 2.0 ports and one USB-C 2.0 port, with data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps. Connect items such as a keyboard, mouse or USB flash drive while using the display connections. A USB-C PD port supports charging up to 100 W, subject to the laptop’s USB-C port supporting Power Delivery and use of a charger with the same power as the laptop’s original charger.

Buyers often describe the hub as straightforward to connect and appreciate having multiple ports in a compact format. Some report inconsistent charging through the dock, making the laptop’s PD support and the appropriate charger important parts of the charging setup.

Practical tips

Connect the dock to a laptop’s full-featured USB-C port that supports video, charging and data, or to a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 port. For charging, the laptop’s USB-C port must also support Power Delivery, use a charger with the same power as the original laptop charger. If you connect a VGA display, plan for a maximum resolution of 1080p across the displays.

Questions before you buy

Will it work with a MacBook? It can connect to MacBook devices with a compatible, full-featured USB-C or Thunderbolt port. With macOS, it supports mirror mode rather than extended multi-display mode.

What kind of laptop port is required? The laptop needs a USB-C port that supports video transmission, charging and data, or a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 port. A USB-C connector alone does not establish those functions.

Can the dock charge a laptop? Its USB-C PD port supports up to 100 W. The laptop’s USB-C port must support Power Delivery, and the charger used should match the power of the laptop’s original charger.

When it makes sense

It’s especially useful for a desk setup that needs HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA options alongside everyday peripherals, with the host laptop’s port capabilities guiding the connection and display mode.
