Usage tips

For a desk setup, connect the dock to the laptop, then attach monitors by HDMI and wired networking through RJ45. Add frequently used peripherals to the USB ports, reserving the faster USB 3.0 connections for data transfers and using USB 2.0 for items such as a keyboard or mouse. Choose extended display mode on a compatible Windows laptop when you want separate work areas across screens, mirrored mode shows the same content on each display.

The PD port supports up to 100W pass-through power. The charger is not included, so connect a suitable USB-C charger if you want to power the laptop through the dock. For a quick privacy pause, press the screen-lock button to turn off the displays.

Is it worth it?

This dock brings display, network, charging and peripheral connections into one laptop workstation, rather than relying on separate single-purpose adapters. Its dual HDMI outputs are useful for a multi-monitor desk, while Gigabit Ethernet and multiple USB connection types help accommodate a mix of wired accessories. The screen-lock control adds a practical touch for shared offices, meetings and mobile work.

It suits you if your laptop has full-featured USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 and you want a consolidated connection point for monitors, accessories and wired networking. For Windows users who need extended displays, the dock combines that capability with dual HDMI output up to 4K at 60 Hz, macOS users can use the HDMI outputs in mirrored mode.
