ProCase iPad case 10.2-inch

For owners of a 10.2-inch iPad in the listed seventh-, eighth- or ninth-generation models, this ProCase cover is aimed at keeping everyday handling simple without adding much bulk. Its slim hard back and front cover are designed to protect against scratches and fingerprints, while the frosted, translucent back lets the Apple logo show through. It also supports automatic Sleep/Wake and has a magnetic closure. The key buying check is the iPad model number: the case is not compatible with other devices, even if they look similar.

Best use cases

This cover makes sense for routine carry and storage: slipping an iPad into a bag, setting it on a desk, or closing the front when you are finished reading or browsing. The lightweight, slim design is intended to add minimal bulk, so it suits someone who wants a cover without turning the tablet into a noticeably larger carry item. The magnet keeps the cover closed, and the Sleep/Wake feature is intended to put the iPad to sleep or wake it when the cover is opened or shut.

The translucent frosted back is a practical middle ground between a fully opaque shell and leaving the back exposed. It allows the Apple icon to remain visible while helping guard against fingerprints and scratches. It is not described as a keyboard case or as protection against drops, so those needs call for a different type of accessory. Te conviene si you mainly want a slim cover for basic protection and convenient open-and-close use.

Check the number printed on the back of your iPad against the listed models before choosing this case. The generation name alone may not be enough to distinguish devices, and the product information says it will not fit other devices. The listing does not specify a drop-protection rating, so it is better to treat scratch and fingerprint protection as its stated role rather than assume it is built for impacts.

Where it shines

The appeal here is straightforward: a cover that keeps the tablet’s main surfaces covered, leaves the logo visible and retains access to the controls and connections. For example, when you close the cover after reading on the sofa and put the iPad away, the magnetic front stays shut and the automatic Sleep/Wake feature is designed to handle the screen state. If you prefer a more substantial case with a built-in keyboard, this is the wrong direction, the listing specifically rules out Smart Keyboard support. A plain sleeve is another route if you only need protection while carrying the tablet, but it will not offer the same attached cover or automatic Sleep/Wake convenience.

Final decision

Mejor evitarlo si your iPad is not one of the listed 10.2-inch generations, or if Smart Keyboard support is essential. For a confirmed compatible model, this is a sensible fit when you want a slim navy cover for everyday scratch protection, a frosted back and magnetic open-and-close use. Its limits are just as clear: the stated protection is against fingerprints and scratches, and there is no listed drop rating. Choose it for a light, straightforward cover—not as a substitute for a rugged case or a keyboard setup.
