QDRAGON 988-621B1 Mini Basketball Hoop with Electronic Scorer and 3 Balls

The electronic scoreboard adds a little friendly competition to indoor shooting, counting points and cheering when a basket goes in. With a choice of countdown modes, this QDRAGON mini hoop makes it easy to turn a bedroom or office into a spot for a quick game.

It hangs over a door, so you can set up a basketball game without drilling into a wall.

What stands out

The scoreboard offers a 60-second countdown mode and a 5-second countdown mode, with point counting and a cheer sound for made baskets. That gives players a simple way to set a pace, keep track of scores and add a playful challenge to solo practice or a game with family and friends. Three mini rubber balls are included, so there are balls ready for a turn-taking game.

A spring-loaded breakaway rim is designed to flex up to 60° during play. The steel rim and high-toughness backboard suit the energetic style of a mini basketball game, while the foldable rim can be tucked away to save space. The hoop is deep blue and measures 38.1 x 27.9 x 5.1 cm.

What matters most

The hook design hangs over most door frames and requires no drilling, making this a practical alternative to a permanently mounted hoop for indoor play. Four shock-absorbing sponge pads sit behind the backboard to help protect the door and reduce vibration and noise. When the game is over, fold the rim away, the design is intended to let the door open and close as usual.

For example, set it up in a bedroom for a short countdown challenge, or use it in an office for a quick break between tasks. The included balls and electronic scoring keep the activity straightforward, while the door-mounted format makes use of a space that can be cleared again after play.

Usage tips

Hang the hoop over a suitable door frame and use the included instructions and installation tools to set it up. It is intended for indoor use, so a bedroom, play area or office is a natural setting. The manufacturer’s recommended age is 3 years and up.

Customer feedback commonly describes the hoop as fun for children and an enjoyable indoor game, with some noting that assembly is straightforward. Experiences vary on fit and durability, and some buyers find play noisy. The included sponge pads are designed to reduce vibration and noise at the door, while the spring-loaded rim and scoreboard give the game its active, competitive feel.

Buying verdict

This set suits households looking for a compact indoor basketball activity that can hang on a door rather than occupy a permanent wall installation. The electronic scorer, two countdown choices and three included balls give kids and adults ways to play quick shooting games together, while the foldable rim helps make the hoop easier to put away between sessions. Choose it for casual door-mounted play in a bedroom or office, with the added fun of a scoreboard that counts each basket.
