Imagineers Outdoor Toys for Kids Ages 4-8 Foam Rocket Launcher, 6 Rockets

The step-on pump sends foam rockets skyward through active, hands-on play. The Imagineers outdoor launcher is manually powered, so kids can launch without batteries or charging. Its adjustable stand and six colourful foam rockets make it easy to get a backyard game started. The set is recommended for ages 3 and up.

What to know

This set combines a foam rocket launcher with six colourful rockets for repeat outdoor play. Kids place a rocket on the launcher and step on the pump to launch it, the rockets can travel up to 100 feet high. Because the action is powered by a child’s movement, it offers an engaging alternative to toys that rely on batteries or electronic controls.

The launch stand has adjustable angles, giving children a way to vary their launches. It also folds for storage and portability, and the pieces snap together without tools. For a birthday or a day in the yard, the set brings a clear activity: set up the launcher, take turns choosing a rocket, then step on the pump and watch it fly. Buyers mention the gift appeal and praise the height and stability, while comments on durability and functionality are mixed.

Usage tips

Set the launcher up outdoors, place a foam rocket on the stand, and press the pump with a step to launch. Adjusting the angle changes the direction of the launch, so choose an open area and keep the play space clear. Taking turns retrieving and launching the rockets gives the activity an easy rhythm for a group of children.

The stand folds down for carrying or storage after play. Its manual operation keeps the activity straightforward: no charging routine or battery controls are part of the launch process. With six rockets in the set, children can take turns and keep the game moving while others retrieve the last launch.

Practical tips

This is an outdoor toy designed around movement, rather than a launcher for indoor play or a battery-powered vehicle. It suits families looking for an activity that gets kids running, stepping and retrieving between launches. For a small backyard, the adjustable angle offers a way to direct play within the available space, in a larger outdoor area, children can enjoy tracking the rockets as they fly.

The product measures 23.9 x 21.6 x 10.2 centimetres and weighs 381 g, making the foldable launcher practical to put away or take along. The foam rockets and manual pump keep the play sequence simple for young children, with adult help available for snapping the stand together as needed.
