HYES 988-828A1 Dual Shot Basketball Arcade Game with LED Scoreboard

Set up a quick basketball challenge at home for a rainy afternoon, a playdate or family game time. The HYES Dual Shot pairs a basketball hoop with an electronic scoreboard and LED lighting, so players can follow the score as they take turns shooting.

A second game adds variety: the set includes dart cloths, darts and sticky balls for target play. It brings two different activities into one play set, rather than focusing on basketball alone.

The hoop adjusts from 44" to 55" using its support pillars. That range makes it easier to set a suitable height as children grow or to adapt the game for different players.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the adjustable pillars to set the hoop for the players taking part, then let them compete for points on the electronic display. The LED lighting and scoring add an arcade-style touch, while the ball return design helps keep the basketball activity moving between shots. For a change of pace, switch to the dart cloths and sticky balls for a target game.

The set is designed for indoor or outdoor play, so it can suit a playroom, shared family space or an outdoor play area. After a game, the mesh basket at the base provides a place to store the balls or other toys, helping keep play pieces together. Follow the supplied manual when assembling the set and adjusting its height.

Buyers often describe the game as enjoyable for children and easy to assemble. Feedback on its size is mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about sturdiness and durability. Keep the activity focused on shooting and target play, rather than treating the set as something to lean or climb on.

Practical tips

For a group game, take turns shooting and use the scoreboard to keep track of points. The adjustable hoop lets you choose a height within the stated range before play, while the second target activity gives children another way to play with the set. The basketballs and target accessories also make it possible to switch activities without changing to a separate game.

Use the bottom storage basket to gather the balls and toys after play. If the set is being used outdoors, place it in the chosen play area and assemble it according to the manual. The stated age guidance is 36 months to 15 years.

Practical questions

What games can children play with this set? It combines basketball arcade play with a dart-cloth target game. The basketball mode has an electronic scoreboard and LED lighting, the target game uses the included darts and sticky balls.

Can the hoop height be adjusted? Yes. Its support pillars adjust the hoop from 44" to 55", allowing you to set it at a height that suits the players.

Is it intended for indoor or outdoor play? The set is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, making it suitable for different play spaces at home.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want one play set that brings basketball scoring and a target game together for children at home. Compared with a single-activity hoop, the dart-cloth game adds another way to play, while adjustable height, LED scoring and built-in storage make the set practical for changing players and tidying up afterwards.
