JoyCat SO-TC-01 Toss and Catch Set with Paddles, Gloves and 4 Balls

For children aged 3 to 12 who are ready to practise catching through active play, the JoyCat SO-TC-01 brings a simple toss-and-catch game to the backyard, beach or family outing. Two paddles and two gloves give players different ways to catch. The set packs into its storage bag for easy transport between play spots.

Worth noting

The set contains two paddles, two breathable gloves, four balls and one storage bag. The paddles use a hook-and-loop catching surface, so players can work on tracking and catching the ball as it comes towards them. Their waterproof design suits play in a range of outdoor settings, while the compact storage bag keeps the pieces together when it is time to move on.

The gloves are made with breathable diamond mesh and have an adjustable strap. That combination helps keep hands comfortable during a game and lets players adjust the fit. Polyester and soft EVA are listed among the materials, and the balls measure 7 cm in diameter. The set is designed for two players, making it easy to get a parent and child, or two young players, into a shared activity without organizing a larger group.

Buyers highlight the catching practice and say young players enjoy using the game. That makes the set appealing for families looking for an activity that combines movement with a clear, repeatable skill: watch the ball, line up a catch and try again.

How to use it

Choose the paddles, gloves or a mix of both, then take turns tossing and catching the balls. The manual format keeps setup straightforward and puts the focus on the exchange between players. Short rounds can give children repeated chances to practise hand-eye coordination, motor skills, focus and balance, all of which are named learning objectives for the game.

For a casual game, start with gentle throws and let players find a comfortable rhythm before changing the pace. The set can be used indoors or outdoors, so it can suit a play session at home as well as time in the yard, at the park or on a family camping trip. Gather the pieces in the storage bag after play to keep the game ready for the next outing.

Best use cases

This is a practical choice for parent-child play, two-player catch practice and family activities where a ball game is easier to organize than a team sport. Take it along to the beach or park for an active break, or keep it handy for backyard play. Compared with a passive toy or screen-based activity, toss and catch gives children a reason to move, follow a moving ball and interact with another player.

It also works as a gift for children who enjoy simple outdoor games. The mix of paddles and gloves offers variety within one set, while the included balls make it possible to start playing without sourcing a separate ball for the game.
