Mosghuiy 61×38cm Silicone Cat Litter Mat with Deep Grooves

If loose litter around the box is part of your daily cleanup, this silicone mat gives it a defined place to collect. Its deep grooves and raised edges catch litter and debris from paws. The waterproof, washable surface makes routine cleaning straightforward. Could a mat that folds away also make storage simpler? This one does.

Key features

Made from silicone, the mat has a soft, paw-friendly surface and a non-slip base designed to stay in place on tile, wood and carpet. That stable footing helps keep the mat positioned beside the litter box as cats walk across it. The deep-groove design holds scattered litter and dust, while the raised edges help contain what lands on the mat rather than letting it spread across the surrounding floor.

The surface is waterproof and resists water, urine and stains, so everyday messes can be rinsed or wiped away. It can also be machine washed. With no hidden corners for dirt to collect, the design keeps cleaning simple. The silicone is described as odourless, scratch-resistant and reusable, making the mat suited to regular use around an indoor litter area.

At 61×38cm, it provides a broad landing area beside the box. Compared with a plain, flat mat, its grooves and raised edges offer a more defined place to catch loose litter. It also folds for storage or portability, and requires no assembly: lay it flat where your cat steps out of the box.

Care & maintenance

For a quick clean, rinse the mat or wipe its waterproof surface to remove litter and debris. Machine washing is another stated cleaning option. Let the mat lie flat in its usual spot beside the litter box for daily use, then fold it when you need to store or carry it. The silicone construction is designed for repeated use, while the scratch-resistant surface is suited to everyday contact with pets.

Best use cases

This mat is intended for the area immediately around a cat litter box, where loose granules tend to travel on paws. Place it at the exit your cat uses so litter can fall into the grooves as they step onto it. The raised perimeter helps keep captured debris on the mat, making the surrounding floor easier to manage during regular tidying.

Its non-slip base is described for tile, wooden floors and carpet, giving it practical placement options in different indoor litter areas. The 61×38cm format is designed to fit most litter boxes, and the foldable construction is useful when the mat needs to be put away or moved. It can also be used with small dogs, as specified for the product.

Should you buy it?

It’s a good fit if you want a washable, waterproof surface beside the litter box that helps contain tracked litter without adding an assembly step. The grooved centre and raised edges focus on catching debris, while the non-slip base and soft silicone surface support everyday use where pets step in and out. Choose it for a dedicated indoor litter area where a simple-to-clean mat can help keep floor cleanup more contained.
