Powools PWCMSP808-GY-XL Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box, Grey, XL

Choosing a litter box for a larger cat often means balancing room to move with a setup that helps contain litter and mess. The Powools PWCMSP808-GY-XL pairs an XL footprint with a covered, top-entry design. Its stainless steel surface is smooth and non-sticky, making routine cleanup more straightforward. The grey finish and secure buckle construction suit a tidy, practical home setup.

Usage tips

Place the box on a level surface, then secure the top and base with the buckle so the enclosure stays together during everyday use. The four anti-slip pads help keep it stable as your cat steps in, digs, and moves around. Position it where your cat can approach the top entry comfortably, with enough surrounding space for access and cleaning.

For daily care, remove used litter and wipe or rinse the smooth interior as needed. Because the surface is designed not to cling to litter and waste, cleaning can be simpler than scraping residue from a textured base. The anti-tracking filter pedal helps reduce litter carried out after use, while the covered layout and high sides help contain scatter and splashes around the box.

What stands out

The stainless steel construction offers a durable alternative to plastic for shoppers who want a non-sticky surface that resists rust, scratches, stains, and odour absorption. A plastic litter box may suit someone who specifically prefers that material, this XL model focuses on a smooth metal interior and a more contained design for everyday use.

Containment comes from several practical details working together: high sides, an overlapping buckle between the top and base, and a filter pedal intended to reduce tracking. Together, these features help keep the area around the litter box tidier. The covered, top-entry format also gives the cat a defined litter space, while the buckle installation keeps the two sections connected during use.
