Jordan Ward FORWARD Translucent Pink LP Record

For listeners looking to hear Jordan Ward’s debut album as a physical record, FORWARD brings its 14 tracks together on a translucent pink LP. The release puts his distinct R&B style at the centre. Its coloured vinyl also gives the album a striking look in a record collection. It’s a format for listening at home and enjoying the album as a complete release.

Key features

FORWARD is Jordan Ward’s debut album, featuring 14 tracks that move through different sounds and moods. The album includes “WHITE CROCS” and “MUSTARD (feat. 6LACK),” alongside the rest of the tracklist. Ward’s approach spans infectious, radio-ready songs and more tender love songs, offering a varied listen while keeping his R&B style in focus. What makes this edition stand out on the shelf? Its translucent pink vinyl, which gives the physical LP a distinctive appearance as well as a clear connection to the album’s title and artwork-free colour identity.

This is a limited pressing, making it a considered choice for fans who prefer to own music in a tangible format. Compared with choosing music only for quick, on-demand listening, an LP offers a physical edition to bring out for a dedicated album session or keep alongside other records. The focus here is the album itself: a 14-track introduction to Jordan Ward’s sound, presented on coloured vinyl.

Usage tips

The LP format suits a home listening setup with a turntable designed for records. Set aside time to play the album as a full sequence, or return to the featured tracks “WHITE CROCS” and “MUSTARD (feat. 6LACK)” when you want a starting point. The variety of moods makes the record well suited to listeners who enjoy an R&B album that moves between upbeat tracks and more intimate songs.

As a physical edition, it can also have a place in a music collection beyond regular playback. The translucent pink colour makes the record visually distinctive among standard black vinyl, while the album’s full tracklist gives it substance as more than a display piece. Whether you are adding Jordan Ward to a growing collection or choosing a record for a focused listening session, the LP format brings the music and its physical presentation together.

Practical tips

Before playing, make sure your turntable is set up for LP records and handle the vinyl by its edges to keep the playing surface clear. When not in use, return the record to its sleeve and store it with your other LPs. These simple habits help keep the coloured vinyl ready for future listening and make it easier to maintain a tidy collection.

For a listening session, the album’s range gives you a few ways to approach it: play all 14 tracks in sequence to take in the full debut, or start with the two named fan favourites. The physical format is especially suited to listeners who enjoy choosing a record, setting it up and giving an album their attention, rather than treating music as background alone.

Final verdict

FORWARD pairs Jordan Ward’s debut album and 14-track R&B range with a limited translucent pink LP pressing. It suits fans who want a physical copy of the album, listeners building a vinyl collection, and anyone drawn to a record that stands out visually while offering a full-length listening experience. The coloured vinyl is the defining feature, the varied tracklist gives the edition its purpose beyond appearance.
