Elegant Weapons Evolution Red Vinyl Album

Some listeners prefer choosing music track by track, others want to give an album their attention as a complete release. Evolution - Red (Vinyl) is an LP from Elegant Weapons for that album-focused approach. Its custom red vinyl presentation brings a distinctive colour to the format, while the music pairs hard rock musicianship with modern metal production.

What to know

Evolution is the sophomore album from Elegant Weapons, the metal band formed by Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner. The lineup also features Ronnie Romero, Dave Rimmer and Christopher Williams, bringing together musicians with experience across hard rock and metal. The album’s sound is presented as a meeting of strong musicianship and modern metal production, making this release a fit for listeners drawn to guitar-led heavy music.

The red vinyl format gives the album a physical presence as well as a way to listen. Rather than building a session around individual tracks, choosing an LP puts the focus on Evolution as an album. It can suit a planned listening session at home, or a collection centred on metal and hard rock releases. Buyers have also praised the album and its sound, with comments highlighting the guitar tone, these are listener impressions, not a substitute for the musical style described here.

Getting the most from it

The custom red colour is a distinguishing feature of this LP, while the album itself is the main attraction for fans of modern metal and hard rock. If you’re choosing between a format for quick, track-by-track listening and one that encourages a more focused album session, this record offers a tangible way to spend time with the full release. It also makes sense for listeners who value adding physical editions of the artists and genres they follow to their music collection.

How to use it

Play the LP on a turntable designed for records in this format, following the care and operating guidance for your equipment. For an album-focused session, set aside time to listen to Evolution as a complete release and follow its progression from beginning to end. The format also suits a shared listening session: put the record on, settle in, and let the band’s hard rock musicianship and modern metal production take centre stage.

Is it worth it?

Evolution - Red (Vinyl) is a considered pick for Elegant Weapons listeners and fans of guitar-driven metal who want this sophomore album in LP form. Richie Faulkner’s role in forming the band, the lineup of Ronnie Romero, Dave Rimmer and Christopher Williams, and the combination of hard rock musicianship with modern metal production give the release a clear identity. Choose it when you want the album itself—not a playlist of isolated tracks—to anchor a listening session, with custom red vinyl adding a distinctive physical format to the experience.
