The King's Ranger Boxset: Books 1-3 Audiobook, Unabridged, Narrated by Simon Vance

Key takeaways

The King's Ranger Boxset brings Books 1-3 together as one unabridged audiobook collection. Narrated by Simon Vance, it has a total listening length of 32 hours and 25 minutes. That gives listeners a substantial story collection in audio format, with the first three books gathered under one title.

The unabridged format preserves the complete recorded text, while the extended runtime makes it easy to plan listening around a longer project rather than choosing a short standalone recording. It suits listeners who want to follow a multi-book collection through audio, whether settling in for a longer session or listening in shorter stretches over time.

How to use it

Treat the runtime as a guide for fitting the collection into your routine. A dedicated listening session can work well when you have time to focus, while shorter sessions let you return to the story at a pace that feels comfortable. Since the collection runs for 32 hours and 25 minutes, keeping your place between sessions can help you pick up where you left off.

For example, a listener could set aside time at home for a chapter-length stretch, then continue the same audiobook on another day. The format is also suited to moments when listening is more practical than holding a book, such as relaxing at home or taking a walk. Choose the listening pace that works for you, the full, unabridged presentation is designed to be heard as a complete recording.

Getting the most from it

This boxset is a useful way to move through the first three books as a collected audio edition rather than selecting a single title. The shared format and narration make the set a straightforward choice for listeners who prefer to experience a series in sequence. Simon Vance’s narration provides the voice for the collection, and the 32-hour-and-25-minute length offers plenty of material for listeners who enjoy returning to a longer audiobook over multiple sessions.

If you are choosing between a single audiobook and a multi-book collection, the key difference here is scope: this edition groups Books 1-3 together. It is particularly relevant when your aim is to start the series and continue through those three books in audio, rather than pick up only one instalment. The listing identifies it as an unabridged Audible audiobook, so it is presented as a complete audio edition rather than a shortened version.
