Thornhill BODIES Definitive Vinyl LP, White & Blue Galaxy Edition

For Thornhill listeners seeking the definitive edition of BODIES on vinyl, this limited-edition LP pairs the album with a distinctive transparent white-and-blue galaxy finish. Its special presentation makes the physical edition part of the appeal, whether you’re adding it to a collection or settling in for an album listen.

The definitive version also adds the single “Mercia” and features upgraded packaging details.

What to know

BODIES is Thornhill’s third studio album, and this edition brings its definitive version to LP. The transparent white-and-blue galaxy vinyl gives the record a distinct look, while alternate album artwork sets it apart from a standard presentation of the cover. A matte finish and full-colour inner sleeve complete the packaging, making the edition appealing to listeners who value the artwork and physical details alongside the music.

The tracklist includes the additional single “Mercia”. That gives fans a reason to choose this version when they want the definitive BODIES release in one physical album, rather than a copy without that added track. The edition’s defining features are specific and easy to identify: the extra single, alternate artwork, matte packaging, a full-colour inner sleeve and the transparent galaxy-coloured vinyl.

Who it’s for

This LP suits Thornhill fans who want a physical copy of BODIES with edition-specific artwork and packaging, as well as collectors drawn to coloured vinyl. It also works for someone building a music collection around complete album releases: the added “Mercia” single and the special presentation bring extra interest beyond simply owning the album in vinyl format.

If you’re choosing between a basic album copy and a more distinctive physical edition, the artwork, sleeve and vinyl colour are the practical differences to weigh. Here, those details give the record a recognisable place in a collection while keeping the focus on Thornhill’s album.

Best use cases

Use it for a focused album listen at home, or keep it as part of a Thornhill collection where the cover and record can be appreciated as physical objects. The full-colour inner sleeve and alternate artwork make the packaging relevant to fans who enjoy engaging with an album beyond its audio, the transparent white-and-blue galaxy design adds a visual detail specific to this limited edition.

It’s also suited to gifting for a Thornhill listener who collects LPs. The album identity, added single and distinctive presentation make the edition straightforward to choose for someone who wants BODIES on vinyl, rather than a music-related gift without a specific connection to the band or release.

Final verdict

Choose this edition for Thornhill’s BODIES in a definitive LP format with “Mercia”, alternate album art, a matte finish and a full-colour inner sleeve. The transparent white-and-blue galaxy vinyl is its standout visual feature, while the added track gives the release a clear musical distinction. It’s a strong fit for fans and vinyl collectors who want the album’s music and special-edition presentation together.
