HOMERHYME Microfibre Cleaning Cloths, 100-Pack

Best use cases

A cloth that leaves lint on glass or feels too rough on a car’s finish can turn a quick clean into another job. These HOMERHYME microfibre cloths are designed for wiping, drying, dusting and detailing, with a soft, tag-free construction intended for use on paint, glass, stainless steel and household surfaces. The pack includes assorted colours, which can help keep a cloth for the car separate from one used around the kitchen or bathroom.

Picture drying a side window, then setting that cloth aside and reaching for a different colour to dust a shelf. That simple separation is where a large reusable pack can be handy.

They’re also described as suitable for use with waxes, buffing products and lubricated sprays, so the intended use goes beyond dry dusting. It’s a broad all-purpose format, rather than a collection of specialist cloths for different jobs. It suits you if you want one type of washable cloth for both vehicle care and routine cleaning. Better to skip it if your priority is a cloth with a specific weave, size or specialist detailing role, those details aren’t provided here.

Product specs

Each cloth measures 11.5" x 11.5" and is made from 87% polyester and 13% polyamide microfibre. The product listing describes a sonic-cut edge, with no tags or seams, and says the cloth is machine washable and reusable. It also claims absorption of up to eight times the cloth’s weight and durability through 500 machine-wash cycles under normal conditions. Those figures are manufacturer-provided claims, not independent test results.

The assorted pack is listed as having five colours. The listing also states about 3,000,000 fibres per square inch, but gives no washing temperature or care instructions beyond machine washing. If you plan to use the same pack on paint, glass and kitchen surfaces, assigning colours by task is a practical way to reduce mix-ups.

Where it shines

The useful combination here is the small cloth format, reusable construction and range of stated uses. A 11.5" square is easy to handle for quick interior wipe-downs, mirrors or smaller household surfaces, while a bulk pack means there are cloths available for several tasks before you need to wash them. Compared with disposable wipes, washable cloths can be used again, compared with buying separate cloth types for every room, these offer a simpler all-purpose approach.

The listing describes them as lint-free and non-abrasive, including for paint, but that shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee against every mark. Dust or grit on a surface can still affect the result, so a cloth intended for paint should be kept clean and used with care. The compact dimensions may also mean more passes on larger areas than you’d need with a bigger towel.

Final decision

These are worth considering if you want a sizeable set of reusable cloths for everyday car and home cleaning, and the assorted colours would help you separate tasks. Their material blend, compact dimensions and claimed compatibility with detailing products make them more versatile than a cloth bought for one narrow chore. Choose a more specialised option if you need a particular towel size, a defined care routine or detailed information about the cloth’s weave, those specifics aren’t included. For ordinary wiping, dusting and smaller drying jobs, the appeal is straightforward: one washable format, ready for several parts of the house or vehicle.
