Airwit 28-inch White Ceiling Fan with Remote, Reversible DC Motor and LED Light

A bedroom or small living room that needs both airflow and overhead lighting is the kind of space this Airwit ceiling fan is designed for. It combines a fan and dimmable LED light in a compact, white ceiling-mounted unit. The remote offers six fan speeds, along with a Natural Breeze mode and night light mode. One important installation detail: this is not a fan that screws into a standard light-bulb socket, it requires ceiling wiring and the included mounting base.

Practical tips

Think of this as a replacement for a wired ceiling light where you also want adjustable airflow, rather than a quick-fit socket accessory. The listed dimensions are 71D x 71W x 30H centimetres, so check the available ceiling space and whether the low-profile style suits the room before choosing a spot. The product is described for bedrooms, dining rooms and small living rooms, but no specific room coverage is provided.

The pre-assembled motor and snap-in blades are intended to simplify setup once the mounting base is secured. That does not remove the need for ceiling wiring, so this is a better fit for a planned installation than for someone seeking a plug-in or bulb-socket solution. The fan body and blades can be released with a twist for cleaning, maintenance, storage or moving between spaces, the included base remains part of the ceiling-mounted setup.

For daily use, the remote lets you select among six speeds and Natural Breeze mode, while the light offers adjustable brightness, multiple colour temperatures and a night light mode. Reversing the DC motor changes the airflow direction: downward airflow is intended for summer, while upward circulation can help move warm air in winter. These settings provide flexibility, though the listing does not specify airflow output or light brightness.

Pros

Combining airflow and lighting can make sense when a room has space for only one ceiling fixture. The six speed settings give more choice than a basic fan with a single fixed airflow, while the reversible motor adds a seasonal circulation option. The white finish and modern, low-profile design are also described as suitable for minimalist and Scandinavian-style interiors.

Compared with a bulkier traditional ceiling fan, this model is presented as lightweight, with a pre-assembled motor and snap-in blades to reduce assembly steps. Its detachable body and blades are practical details for cleaning. However, the installation still depends on a wired ceiling mount, the compact format does not make it a standard-socket fan.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want a compact ceiling fan and an adjustable LED light together, and your room has the wiring and mounting setup this unit requires. The remote, reversible airflow and removable fan body add useful everyday flexibility, particularly in a bedroom or small room where one fixture can serve both purposes.

Better avoided if you need a fan that installs by screwing into a regular bulb socket, since the product information explicitly rules out that setup. It may also be worth comparing with a separate fan and light if you need published figures for room coverage, airflow or light output, those details are not provided here. For a wired ceiling installation where the listed functions matter more than those missing specifications, the Airwit offers a clear combination of fan and lighting controls.
