GaliGali CA.5172-1-5 Floral Peel-and-Stick Vinyl Wallpaper, 17.3 in x 197 in
Product description
For anyone looking to add a floral accent without applying paste, the GaliGali CA.5172-1-5 is a self-adhesive vinyl wallpaper designed to be cut and applied to a clean, dry, smooth surface. Its dark green background and vintage-inspired floral print suit a decorative update in a kitchen or another room, while the peel-and-stick format also lends itself to smaller projects such as lining drawers.
The roll measures 17.3 in x 197 in and is listed to cover 23.7 sq. ft. Planning around that stated coverage can help you estimate how many rolls a project needs.
Tips for day-to-day use
The application is straightforward in principle: prepare the surface, cut the wallpaper to fit, peel away the backing and smooth it into place. The product guidance recommends cleaning first with a damp sponge or cloth and mild detergent, or a diluted isopropyl alcohol solution, then letting the surface dry. No special tool is specified as necessary.
For a small project, such as a drawer lining or a single accent area, measure the surface before cutting and consider how the floral pattern will meet at the edges. The pattern is described as a straight match, but buyers report mixed experiences with alignment, including difficulty matching some flowers. Ordering enough rolls from the same batch is also recommended by the product information to help avoid colour differences.

Why it makes sense
This format is a practical alternative to wallpaper that requires paste: it has an adhesive backing, can be cut to size and is described as removable. That makes it worth considering for a decorative change where a traditional paste-and-paper installation feels like more work than the project calls for. The floral print is the main reason to choose this particular roll, it brings more visual detail than plain contact paper.
Customer feedback is favourable about the appearance and print, and some buyers also appreciate the thickness and find it useful for projects such as drawer lining. Adhesion feedback is not unanimous, though: while some say it stays in place, others find it less sticky. Reports on colour, pattern alignment and durability are also mixed, with some describing tearing when working around corners. Those experiences make careful surface preparation and placement especially relevant, rather than treating the removable format as a guarantee of an effortless installation.

When it makes sense
It’s a good fit if you want a floral, dark-green peel-and-stick finish for a contained decorating project and prefer an adhesive-backed roll over wallpaper applied with paste. It might not be a great match if your project depends on seamless floral alignment or needs material that can be confidently worked around corners, buyer reports raise concerns about pattern matching and tearing in those situations. The choice comes down to the look you want, the surface being covered and how much alignment the finished area will show.
