Gouisalin US-WJG-006 Metal Bird Bath, Retro Blue with 5-Pronged Base

For a garden where birds need a place to bathe or feed, the Gouisalin US-WJG-006 adds a practical station with a vintage look. Its retro blue metal bowl sits on a Roman-style pedestal, bringing function and garden decoration together.

The 13-inch bowl can hold water for bathing or serve as a feeding tray, so you can choose how to use it. A five-pronged base anchors the freestanding stand in soil or lawn.

If you want a decorative focal point as well as a bird station, the pedestal design offers both. For a simple tray without a stand, a different style may suit your space better.

What you’ll notice day to day

At 88.9 cm high, the bird bath stands above the ground, while its 32 x 32 cm footprint gives it a defined place on a lawn, patio or in a garden. The metal construction and retro blue finish lend the piece a vintage character, and the Roman-style pedestal makes the bowl part of the garden display rather than just a water dish.

The removable tray is useful for everyday upkeep: lift it off the stand to refill it or clean it, then return it to its place. For a backyard routine, you can keep water available for bathing, when feeding is more useful, the same tray can serve as a bird feeder. Buyers often praise its appearance and straightforward assembly, and some describe birds visiting. Opinions vary on sturdiness and size, so the overall experience can depend on the setting and expectations.

Highlights

The 13-inch-diameter metal bowl provides room for water or bird feed, with the choice of use left to you. Its freestanding Roman pedestal gives the station height, while the five-pronged base is designed to be inserted into soil or lawn. This makes it a practical fit for an open garden spot where you can place the base directly in the ground.

Assembly uses the included stand and tray: tighten the parts according to the instructions, with no extra tools required. The bowl then detaches for filling and cleaning. A safety coating is described as helping the metal stand up to rain, water, sunlight and cold temperatures during outdoor use.

Compared with a fixed-use bird bath, this tray can switch between bathing and feeding. That flexibility is useful when you want one garden feature for either purpose, while the vintage styling also suits a space where appearance matters alongside everyday use.

Care & maintenance

Regularly clean the bowl and refill it with fresh water when using it as a bath. Its detachable design lets you carry the tray to a convenient spot for cleaning or filling, without taking apart the whole pedestal. If using it as a feeder, remove the tray for cleaning as needed. Secure the five-pronged base in the ground during installation, then tighten the stand components following the assembly instructions.
