FYDGTPI 12673 Bird Bath Copper Discs, 2-Pack, 99.99% Pure Copper

Keep an outdoor birdbath ready for visiting birds with these copper discs, designed to help maintain clear water without chemical additives. The two-pack is made from 99.99% pure copper and uses a triple-point support base to help hold each disc in place at the bottom of the basin, where it can stay in contact with the water.

If your priority is a simple addition to regular birdbath care, these discs offer a place-and-use approach. They’re also intended for a different need than chemical water treatments: a reusable copper option that can stay in the basin through the seasons.

The essentials

Each disc is made from 99.99% pure copper and has a triple-point support design. The base helps keep it positioned on the basin floor and increases the area of contact between the copper and water. The intended benefit is naturally helping keep birdbath water clear, without adding chemicals as part of this approach.

The two-disc set gives you a pair for your outdoor birdbath setup. The discs are described as compatible with most basin materials, including stone, plastic, nylon and metal, provided the basin’s coating is intact and undamaged. That makes them a practical fit for a range of common birdbath styles, place a disc in the basin rather than changing the bath itself.

Buyers have highlighted algae prevention, while their experiences with overall functionality are mixed. The discs are designed to support water care, but they work best as one part of a routine that keeps the birdbath in good condition.

Maintenance

Setup is straightforward: place a disc at the bottom of the birdbath basin. No tools or complicated installation are needed. The product is described as low maintenance and intended to reduce how often cleaning is needed, so it can add a simple ongoing step to caring for an outdoor water feature.

Keep the basin’s coating intact when using a disc in a coated metal bath. As with any birdbath, continue to care for the basin as needed, the copper disc is a water-care accessory, not a replacement for the bath itself. Its reusable construction and all-season design make it suited to ongoing outdoor use across changing seasons.

Everyday use

For a birdbath that’s part of a garden or patio, simply position a disc in the basin to keep it in contact with the water. The triple-point base is intended to help it stay put, while the copper provides a chemical-free approach to helping maintain clearer water. This is useful when you want a low-effort addition to your birdbath routine rather than a setup involving tools or a separate installation.

The stated compatibility with stone, plastic, nylon and metal basins makes the discs relevant to different bath materials. Before use with a coated metal basin, make sure its coating is intact and undamaged. The all-season design also means the discs are intended to remain in use throughout the year, rather than being limited to a particular season.

Final verdict

FYDGTPI’s two-pack is a focused choice for birdbath owners looking for reusable copper discs to support clearer water without chemical additives. Pure copper, triple-point support and simple placement bring together the product’s main benefits in a straightforward format for outdoor basins. Choose it to add a low-maintenance water-care step to a bird-friendly garden or patio.
