Gifto Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets, 15 Count, HE Compatible, Septic Safe

For households maintaining an HE front-load or top-load washer, Gifto Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets offer a simple way to address residue and odour as part of a regular cleaning routine. The concentrated tablets are designed to target detergent buildup, soap scum, lint and hard-water residue inside the washer, including areas such as the drum and rubber gasket.

Each pack contains 15 individually wrapped tablets with a fresh scent. Use one at a time for a monthly washer-cleaning cycle, without pre-soaking or scrubbing.

The essentials

Washer-cleaning tablets help tackle the buildup that can collect between laundry loads. Gifto’s formula releases cleaning bubbles to target residue, stains, lint, debris and hard-water deposits in the washer’s internal areas. Addressing these deposits as part of routine care can help keep the machine fresher between washes.

The tablets are intended for HE-compatible front-load and top-load washers. Their septic-safe formulation also makes them suitable for households with septic systems. If you usually clean a washer by wiping accessible surfaces, a tablet offers a different approach: it works in an empty washer during a cleaning cycle, targeting buildup within the drum and other internal areas.

Cleaning & care

For monthly maintenance, place one tablet in the empty washer drum and run a hot cycle. There is no pre-soaking or wiping step, making the routine easy to fit between laundry days. Follow your washer’s usual cycle-selection guidance when setting up the cleaning cycle.

With 15 tablets in the pack, you have a supply for 15 monthly cleaning cycles when used as directed. The individually wrapped format keeps each tablet ready for its next use, while the fresh scent adds a finishing note to the maintenance routine.

Getting the most from it

Regular use is suited to washers that see frequent laundry loads, where detergent residue, lint and soap scum can accumulate over time. A monthly empty-drum cycle gives these deposits a dedicated cleaning cycle rather than relying only on the cycles used for clothing. It can also be useful when hard-water residue is a concern, since the formula is designed to target mineral buildup.

For a practical routine, set aside one tablet for the washer’s monthly care cycle and run it in the empty drum with hot water. This keeps washer maintenance separate from laundry and avoids adding a scrubbing step. The product is focused on washer cleaning, rather than treating garments or replacing regular laundry detergent.
