BLITZ Dishwasher Cleaners Lemon Scent Tablets, 24 Count for Descaling

If your dishwasher needs help with hard-water scale, you may want a cleaner that tackles deposits inside the machine. If regular upkeep is the priority, odour control matters too. BLITZ Dishwasher Cleaner Tablets combine both jobs in a lemon-scented tablet designed for dishwasher maintenance.

The 24-count pack is intended for ongoing use, with a supply described as lasting up to 12 months. Use the tablets in household or commercial dishwashers, including machines with stainless steel or plastic interiors.

Key features

The formula helps break down limescale, hard-water and calcium build-up, along with grease and hidden grime. It is designed to reach internal areas such as spray arms, filters and pipes, so routine cleaning can address more than the visible tub. This makes it useful when mineral deposits or residue are part of your dishwasher maintenance routine.

Cleaning and deodorizing are combined in one tablet. The formula helps remove odours at their source, while the lemon scent leaves a fresh smell after the cleaning cycle. For anyone weighing a fragrance-focused approach against a cleaner that also targets scale and grime, this product brings those maintenance tasks together.

Compatibility covers all major dishwasher brands, with Bosch, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, KitchenAid and Maytag among the examples. That broad fit, plus suitability for stainless steel and plastic interiors, makes it practical for different dishwasher setups. The tablets are for cleaning the machine itself, rather than washing a load of dishes.

Getting the most from it

For routine care, use one tablet monthly. If there is heavy build-up, the directions call for two tablets. Regular monthly use gives you a simple maintenance schedule, while the heavier-build-up guidance offers a way to address more noticeable deposits. No scrubbing is required as part of the stated process: place the tablet in an empty dishwasher and run a normal cycle or a cleaning cycle.

This format suits a maintenance task that can be added to a regular household or commercial cleaning routine. For example, when hard water leaves deposits over time, run a cycle with the tablet in an empty machine to help clean internal components and freshen the dishwasher. The same process also fits periodic upkeep when odour control is the main concern.

How to use it

Place the tablet in an empty dishwasher, then run a normal cycle or the machine’s cleaning cycle. Use one tablet for monthly maintenance, use two for heavy build-up. Because the cycle runs without dishes, schedule the cleaning when the dishwasher is empty. The tablets are designed for use across major dishwasher brands and are suitable for stainless steel and plastic interiors.

Final verdict

BLITZ Dishwasher Cleaner Tablets bring descaling, grime removal and deodorizing together in a straightforward maintenance routine. They’re a practical fit for households or commercial settings looking to care for dishwasher internals, address hard-water deposits and keep odours in check. The lemon-scented, 24-count format supports recurring use, with a simple empty-machine cycle at the centre of the process.
