CycevSun RL4-B6P 4-Inch Recessed LED Pot Lights, Night Light, 5CCT, 6-Pack

For a kitchen, bedroom or living room that needs both useful ceiling light and a softer evening setting, this six-pack of CycevSun recessed pot lights offers two lighting modes in one slim fixture.

Choose from five downlight colour temperatures before installation, then dim the light to suit the room and activity. The separate amber night-light mode adds a gentle glow for quieter hours.

Each light is designed for a 4-inch recessed installation and operates on 120V. How much flexibility can a single ceiling light provide? Here, the choice of downlight colour and a distinct night mode gives you options for different moments in the same space.

At a glance

The RL4-B6P set includes six black, canless LED pot lights. In downlight mode, select 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K before installation to suit the feel you want, from warmer light to a cooler daylight tone. The listed output is 750 lm at 9W, and both lighting modes are dimmable from 5% to 100% with most dimmers.

For low-level ambient lighting, switch to the 2000K amber night-light mode. This gives the fixture a practical second role in spaces such as bedrooms or hallways, where a bright downlight may not be wanted at night. The black finish and slim profile keep the recessed fitting visually simple against the ceiling.

These lights are IC rated, so they are permitted to contact ceiling insulation, and are cETL listed. They are approved for damp locations and can also be installed in an outdoor soffit. The set is intended for 120V AC supply.

How to use it

Set your preferred downlight colour temperature before fitting the lights in the ceiling. The required cut-out is 4.1–4.3 inches, with an outside diameter of 4.9 inches. Use the included wire nuts when making the electrical connections, and follow the installation instructions for the recessed mounting.

The fixture has a sync and reset function for installations where several lights share one switch. To return them to downlight mode, leave the switch off for more than eight seconds, then turn it on. To enter night-light mode, switch the light off and back on within two seconds. This is useful when grouped lights have ended up in different modes and you want them aligned again.

Practical tips

Use the selectable colour setting to coordinate the ceiling lighting with the room: a warmer choice can suit a relaxed bedroom or dining area, while a cooler setting may work well for everyday kitchen tasks. Dimming lets you adjust the downlight for the activity, and the dedicated amber mode provides a separate, softer option after dark. For a vaulted ceiling, the light can be installed on the sloped surface, its beam is fixed and follows the angle of that surface rather than tilting independently.

Buyer feedback often highlights straightforward installation, the appearance and the useful combination of dimming and night lighting. Some buyers also report reliability concerns, including flickering or lights switching inconsistently between modes. The built-in reset sequence offers a practical way to resynchronise multiple lights when their modes differ.

Buying verdict

The CycevSun RL4-B6P suits a room where you want recessed lighting that can shift from a chosen everyday colour temperature to a low-glare amber night setting. Its six-light format, adjustable dimming and sync/reset operation make it a considered choice for a coordinated ceiling installation in a living space, bedroom, kitchen or suitable damp-location area.
