CycevSun RL6-W6P 6-Inch LED Pot Lights, 5CCT, Dimmable with Night Light, 6-Pack

Choose from five downlight colour temperatures to suit the room, then use the separate amber night-light mode for softer illumination after dark. These CycevSun recessed LED lights combine both options in a slim, 6-inch fixture. Each light uses 12 W and provides up to 1,050 lumens. The six-pack is designed for ceiling installation in spaces such as kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms.

Who it’s for

This set suits homeowners updating recessed ceiling lighting who want more control over the room’s atmosphere without choosing between a standard downlight and a night light. Set the downlight to 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K before installation, then dim it to match everyday tasks or a more relaxed setting. For a hallway or bedroom where a bright ceiling light is not needed overnight, switch to the 2000K amber night-light mode for a softer glow.

The six fixtures can also help create a consistent look across several ceiling openings in a kitchen, dining room or living area. When comparing them with fixed-colour recessed lights, the selectable colour temperatures offer more flexibility at setup, the dedicated night-light option adds another use for the same ceiling fixture.

What stands out

The main distinction is the choice of two lighting modes: a regular downlight and an amber night light. Both modes are dimmable from 5% to 100%, and the lights are compatible with most dimmers. That range makes it easier to adjust the light for different moments, from brighter general illumination to a lower evening setting.

Mode changes use the wall switch. To enter night-light mode, turn the light off and back on within two seconds. If multiple lights controlled by one switch are in different modes, leave them off for more than eight seconds, then turn them back on to reset them to downlight mode. This sync-and-reset function helps bring the group back to a consistent setting.

Highlights

Each 6-inch fixture measures 17.1 x 17.1 x 2 cm and has a slim profile for recessed ceiling mounting. The specified ceiling cutout is 6.1–6.3 inches, with a 6.9-inch outside diameter, useful dimensions to check when planning a retrofit or new installation. Mounting hardware is included. The lights are rated for 120 V and for damp locations, and carry IC and cETL specifications, the IC rating permits contact with ceiling insulation.

Buyer feedback often appreciates the straightforward installation, adjustable brightness and the atmosphere created by the night-light setting. Some customers also report reliability concerns, so feedback is mixed on that point. For practical planning, confirm that the existing electrical setup and ceiling opening suit these 120 V, 6-inch fixtures, and select the preferred downlight colour temperature before installation.

Is it worth it?

For a project that needs several recessed lights with more than one lighting purpose, this six-pack brings selectable white light, dimming and a distinct amber night mode together in each fixture. It’s a good fit if you want to set the downlight colour to suit the room while keeping a softer option available for evenings. The combination is especially useful in rooms that serve different purposes throughout the day, where one fixed light setting would be less adaptable.
