Amico 24001 4-Inch LED Recessed Pot Lights, 5 CCT, Dimmable, 24-Pack

For a ceiling project that needs slim recessed lighting and flexibility over colour temperature, the Amico 24001 set brings both into one 24-pack. Each 4-inch LED downlight offers five selectable CCT settings, from 2700K to 5000K. Its low-profile design and junction box support canless ceiling installation. Smooth dimming lets you adjust the light for different rooms and routines.

What to know

Each light provides 800 lumens using 10 watts, with a stated output equivalent to a 70W halogen lamp. Choose among 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K to set a warmer or cooler white tone for the space. That range is useful when you want a softer feel in a living area or a cooler look for a work surface, without having to select a single fixed colour temperature for the whole project.

The lights are IC-rated, so they are permitted to contact ceiling insulation, and the junction box is thermally protected. The slim fixture requires as little as 2 inches of ceiling space. ETL and FCC certification are stated, and the product carries a five-year manufacturer warranty. For a retrofit or a new decorating project, the canless format offers a different approach from recessed fixtures that require a traditional can housing.

Getting the most from it

For installation, use the supplied 1:1 hole template to mark and cut the ceiling opening, connect the junction box to the cable, then secure the light with its spring clips. The low-profile form is designed for ceiling mounting and works in indoor home spaces. Plan the desired colour temperature for each room before fitting the lights, the selectable settings make it possible to tailor the white tone to the room’s intended feel.

The dimming range is 5% to 100%, giving you control over light levels for everyday tasks as well as quieter moments. A practical setup could use a brighter setting while preparing a meal, then a lower level for a more relaxed evening atmosphere. Use a compatible dimmer to make use of the dimming feature.

Everyday use

A 24-pack is suited to projects that need several ceiling lights with a consistent style, such as updating multiple rooms or lighting a larger indoor area. The round, white, metal fixtures sit close to the ceiling, while the downlight design directs illumination into the space below. With 800 lumens per light, they provide a clear basis for planning placement and coverage around the room.

The five CCT choices are especially practical when lighting needs vary from one space to another. A warmer setting can suit a more relaxed room, while a cooler setting can be selected where a brighter-looking white is preferred. Choosing the tone at the fixture helps avoid committing the entire project to one fixed colour temperature.
