CycevSun MI-NRL6-BL12P 6-Inch Black Recessed Lights, Night Light, 5CCT, 12-Pack

A 6-inch recessed format and slim black finish give this CycevSun 12-pack a clean ceiling profile for indoor rooms. Each light combines a main downlight with a separate soft amber night-light mode, so the same fixture can support everyday illumination and a gentler glow after dark.

Choose from five downlight colour temperatures and adjust brightness with a compatible dimmer. The black trim adds a defined finish in kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms, while the canless wafer design keeps the fixture streamlined.

Compatibility

These fixtures are for 120Vac supplies and recessed ceiling installation. The recommended cutout is 6.1–6.3 inches, with a 6.9-inch outside diameter. They are approved for damp locations and can be used in ceilings with insulation, the junction box is thermally protected. They can also be installed on flat or vaulted ceilings. On a sloped ceiling, the beam stays fixed rather than tilting, so it follows the ceiling’s angle. The downlight colour temperature is selected before installation, making it useful to decide on the preferred tone as part of the setup.

Practical tips

Use the five colour settings to suit the room: warmer options create a softer feel, while cooler settings provide a brighter-looking tone. The separate 2000K amber night light offers low-glare ambient illumination when a full downlight is not needed. What if several fixtures on one switch end up in different modes? Switch them off for more than eight seconds, then turn them on again, they reset to downlight mode.

For a coordinated room layout, the 12-pack provides matching black fixtures across several ceiling points. Buyers often highlight the straightforward installation, appearance, brightness control and night-light ambience. Some also express concerns about reliability, so feedback is not entirely uniform.

Practical questions

Can I choose the downlight colour after installation? Select the downlight setting from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K before installation. The night-light mode is a separate 2000K amber setting.

How do I reset several lights controlled by one switch? Turn the lights off for more than eight seconds, then switch them on again. They will reset to downlight mode.

What ceiling opening is needed? The specified cutout is 6.1–6.3 inches. The outside diameter of each light is 6.9 inches.

Final verdict

This set suits indoor projects that call for consistent 6-inch black recessed lighting with more than one mood in the same fixture. Dimmable downlights, five selectable colour temperatures and a dedicated amber night light give you practical control over how the ceiling looks and feels throughout the day.
