CycevSun 4 Inch 12-Pack LED Recessed Lights with Night Light, 5 CCT Options

For indoor lighting that can shift from bright everyday use to a softer evening glow, the CycevSun 4-inch recessed lights offer both downlight and night-light modes. The 12-pack lets you plan a consistent look across a room or several areas. Need a warmer feel for relaxing without changing fixtures? Select from five downlight colour temperatures, then dim the light to suit the moment.

Pros

Choose 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K for the downlight before installation. This range makes it easier to coordinate the lighting with different rooms and activities, from a warm dining-room atmosphere to a cooler tone for everyday tasks. When the room calls for gentle ambient light instead, night-light mode produces a soft 2000K amber glow.

The lights are dimmable from 100% to 5%, giving you more control over the brightness as the day changes. A practical example: use the downlight while preparing dinner, then switch to the amber night-light for a quieter evening setting. The slim, flush-mounted design keeps the fixture close to the ceiling, while its white finish and round shape suit a modern interior.

Key takeaways

Each light is a 4-inch recessed LED rated at 9W, with a listed brightness of 750 lm. The fixtures operate on 120V and are intended for indoor use. For installation planning, the stated ceiling cut-out is 4.1–4.3 inches, with an outside diameter of 4.9 inches. The lights can be used on flat or vaulted ceilings, their beam is fixed, so it follows the angle of the ceiling surface.

ETL listing and an IC rating support use in contact with ceiling insulation, with the junction box thermally protected. The pack includes mounting hardware. If one switch controls several lights and they end up in different modes, switch them off for more than eight seconds, then turn them back on to reset them to downlight mode. This sync-and-reset function helps bring the group back to a consistent setting.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the preferred downlight colour temperature before installation, then use dimming to adjust the room’s feel without changing that selection. To activate night-light mode, turn the light off and on again within three seconds. The mode is handy for low-level ambient illumination when full downlight brightness is unnecessary. For dimming, the manufacturer states compatibility with most dimmers, matching the control to the fixture helps you use its brightness range.

Customer feedback often highlights straightforward installation, useful dimming, the appearance and the ambience of the night-light feature. Some buyers also express concerns about reliability, so feedback is not uniform on that point.

When it makes sense

This set is a good fit for indoor projects where you want recessed lighting with more than one atmosphere built in. The selectable white tones and dimming suit rooms that move between focused activity and relaxed evenings, while the separate amber night-light adds a softer option without relying on the main downlight. Compared with choosing a fixed-colour recessed fixture, this pack offers more flexibility in setting the downlight tone and switching to low-glare ambient light. For kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms or dining areas on a 120V supply, the combination of adjustable light, a slim profile and a coordinated 12-pack makes it easier to create a unified ceiling layout.
