Maichixin 1 12-Inch Hemp Rope Plug-In Pendant Light, Dimmable, E26

Add focused, warm lighting over a dining table, in a bedroom, or along a hallway with the Maichixin plug-in pendant. Its hand-woven hemp rope shade creates distinctive light and shadow patterns when illuminated. The adjustable 15 ft cord lets you set the hanging height, while the dimmer on the cord makes it easy to change the brightness for the moment.

Worth noting

This pendant combines a natural, hand-woven shade with the convenience of a plug-in design. Rather than choosing a fixture that needs to be wired directly into the ceiling, you can position this light using its cord and hooks, with the switch and dimmer within reach on the cord. That makes it a practical way to add pendant-style lighting to a bedroom, living room, dining area, study, or kitchen island.

The shade’s hemp rope weave brings texture to farmhouse and boho-inspired spaces. When the light is on, the open weave casts decorative patterns across nearby walls and the ceiling, adding visual interest as well as illumination. Its single E26 socket takes one bulb, the manufacturer recommends 40W and specifies a maximum of 60W. The bulb is not included, so you can choose an E26 bulb suited to your preferred light source and room.

Fit and sizing

The pendant is listed as 12 inch, with a brown shade and an oval form. Its 15 ft cord is adjustable, making it possible to tailor the drop to the space, whether the fixture hangs over a dining spot or adds light beside a reading chair. The included hooks and wall-mounted parts are designed for use with flat or sloping ceilings. Consider how the shade will sit in relation to furniture and the surrounding ceiling when choosing its position.

Usage tips

Use the dimmer on the cord to adjust brightness from 10% to 100%, helping shift the room from brighter everyday lighting to a softer evening atmosphere. The cord switch also keeps operation close to the fixture, so there is no need to reach a separate wall switch to adjust the light. For a focused pool of downward light and the shade’s woven shadow effect, hang it where the light can fall freely into the room.

Installation is suspended: attach the supplied hooks and mounting parts, adjust the cord to the desired height, fit one compatible E26 bulb, then plug the pendant into a power outlet. The fixture is intended for indoor use. Its plug-in format suits renters or homeowners looking for a decorative lighting option without choosing a hardwired pendant, while the adjustable drop offers flexibility for different room layouts.
