VOLISUN VOLISUN-518HN-4in 4-Inch Slim LED Recessed Lights, 12-Pack, 5 CCT

Refreshing a kitchen, hallway or bedroom ceiling? These 4-inch slim recessed lights bring adjustable white light to indoor spaces, with 12 fixtures in the pack. Would you rather choose a fixed colour temperature before installation or select the tone that suits the room? Each light offers five settings, from warm to cool white, plus dimming for everyday flexibility.

Who it’s for

This set suits homeowners and renovators planning recessed lighting for indoor rooms such as kitchens, living rooms, hallways and bedrooms. The slim profile and junction-box design support both retrofit projects and new ceiling installations. For a consistent look across a room or shared area, having 12 matching white fixtures makes it easier to plan multiple ceiling points together. The 4-inch format is a practical choice when you want recessed downlights without a deeper can-style fixture.

The selectable colour temperature is useful when one fixed tone doesn’t suit every space. Choose a warmer setting for a relaxed feel or a cooler white for a brighter, more task-focused atmosphere. Since the setting is selected on the junction box, you can set the light to match the room as part of installation.

Benefits

Each light produces 810 lumens while using 9.5 W, giving you a clearly stated brightness and power figure to work with when planning a room. The five colour-temperature settings offer more choice than a fixture locked to a single white tone, while dimming from 5% to 100% lets you adjust the light for different activities and times of day. Together, those controls help the same ceiling installation serve both focused tasks and a softer evening setting.

Installation uses a 1:1 hole template, a junction box connected to the ceiling cable and spring clips to secure the light. The design requires as little as 2 inches of ceiling space, a useful detail when planning a slim recessed fitting. Follow the included instructions and use an appropriately qualified installer for ceiling wiring where needed.

Buyers often praise the lights’ brightness and appearance, noting that they look as expected and illuminate rooms effectively. Feedback on reliability is mixed, with some buyers reporting failures, the included product information states a five-year warranty. This set is a good fit when you want adjustable colour and dimming across several indoor ceiling locations, rather than a single light with a fixed tone.

Questions before you buy

Can I choose the light’s colour temperature? Yes. Select 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K using the switch on the side of the junction box.

Are the lights dimmable? Yes. They are designed to dim from 5% to 100% and are described as compatible with most dimmers.

What does installation involve? Use the supplied 1:1 template to cut the ceiling opening, connect the junction box to the cable, then secure the fitting with its spring clips. The lights require as little as 2 inches of ceiling space.

Final verdict

For a multi-room refresh or a coordinated ceiling-lighting project, this 12-pack combines a slim 4-inch recessed format with five selectable colour temperatures and broad dimming control. It’s especially useful when you want to tailor the white tone to each indoor space while keeping the fittings visually consistent.
