AOSKY 6f62ef08-c475-47d7-a13e-57f56a324146 Cordless Blackout Shade, Linen Beige
Product description
Sized at 147.5W x 183H cm, this AOSKY blackout roller shade brings a linen beige finish to an indoor window while providing light control and privacy.
Its cordless free-stop design lets you raise or lower the shade manually and leave it at the height you choose. Adjust the coverage as daylight changes, without operating a hanging cord or chain.
A built-in valance gives the window treatment a finished look, while the fabric’s thermal insulation coating and UV protection add practical features alongside blackout coverage.
Where it shines
Use the shade in a bedroom, home office or other indoor space where managing daylight and privacy matters. The free-stop mechanism makes it easy to tailor the coverage through the day: lower it for privacy or reduced incoming light, then raise it when you want more daylight. Its cordless operation keeps adjustments straightforward, and the low-noise design helps avoid drawing attention when the shade is moved.
The blackout fabric is intended for stronger light control than a light-filtering window treatment, while the integrated coating adds thermal insulation and UV protection. Together, these features make it a useful choice for a window that receives direct sunlight or where a darker, more private feel is preferred. The linen beige colour and built-in valance also give the shade a coordinated, finished appearance.
What to know
The shade is made from cotton and linen and has a rectangular format. It is manually operated, with a cordless free-stop control, and is specified for inside or outside mounting. The listed size is 147W x 183H cm, measure the window and decide on the mounting position before installation so the shade’s coverage suits your setup.
A valance, aluminium alloy upper and lower rods, and an instruction manual are included. The metal rods provide the structure for the roller shade, while the valance completes the top edge. Buyers often mention that installation and everyday operation feel straightforward, and they appreciate the linen beige appearance. Feedback on light blocking is generally favourable, though some buyers say a little light can still come through, the amount of darkness can depend on how the shade is installed in relation to the window.
Tips for day-to-day use
Raise and lower the shade by hand, stopping it at the height that works for the room and time of day. For a practical routine, keep it lower when you want privacy or less daylight and raise it to open up the window again. Follow the supplied instruction manual for mounting and operating the shade. Its cordless design means there is no cord or chain to manage during routine adjustments.
Is it worth it?
For a window where blackout coverage, cordless control and a finished appearance are all priorities, this shade brings those functions together in one manual roller design. Choose it for an indoor space where adjustable light and privacy are useful, with the added benefits of UV protection, a thermal insulation coating and a built-in valance. The linen beige fabric and listed 147.5W x 183H cm dimensions make it easier to match the shade to the intended window and room.
