Coavas window privacy film, 45 x 300 cm
Product description
For people who want more privacy at home or in an office without giving up natural light, this frosted window film is designed for smooth glass surfaces. The Moroccan line pattern adds decoration as well as screening the view.
It measures 45 x 300 cm, so the dimensions are worth comparing with the glass you want to cover before choosing it. The listing also says you can create your own patterns, though it doesn’t explain how to cut or position them.
Installation uses water rather than adhesive: spray the glass, apply the static-cling film and smooth it into place. Would this suit a bathroom window or a glass door where you want daylight but less direct visibility? That is the sort of everyday use its design points towards.
Size and fit
The stated size is 45 x 300 cm. Measure the intended pane and consider how much of it you want covered, the product details don’t give a fitting guide or say whether multiple pieces can be joined seamlessly. Its static-cling format is intended for smooth glass, so it isn’t described as a solution for textured surfaces.
Because there is no adhesive, the film is removable and the listing says it avoids sticky residue. Water is needed for application, which makes careful placement important: have the glass ready and take your time aligning the patterned lines. The product information doesn’t specify how easily it can be repositioned once applied.
Pros
The main practical draw is the combination of privacy and incoming natural light. The listing claims 96% privacy protection and says the film blocks 85% of UVA and 98% of UVB. It also describes sun and heat blocking, although it doesn’t give a figure for heat reduction. Those UV claims may appeal for a bright window, but they shouldn’t be read as a guarantee that a room will stay cool.
The Moroccan line design gives plain glazing more visual interest, while the non-adhesive application avoids the glue associated with some films. Te conviene si you want a removable decorative covering for a smooth pane and are comfortable applying it with water. No te compensa si you need a quantified reduction in room temperature or a stated privacy rating for night-time conditions, neither detail is provided.

What I’d decide
This Coavas film makes sense for a bathroom, office or door when the goal is to soften the view through smooth glass while keeping natural light in the space. Compared with a basic opaque covering, its frosted pattern is the more suitable approach if you still want daylight, a more demanding buyer who needs precise fit instructions, measured heat performance or confirmation of privacy after dark may prefer a product with those details stated. The listing doesn’t clarify those points, so choose it for its removable, water-applied format and stated dimensions rather than assuming performance beyond the claims provided.
