Lazzzy valance curtain linen-poly blend

The linen-poly blend and floral print bring a softer, farmhouse-inspired look to a small window without covering it with a full-length curtain.

Adjustable ties with three snaps let you change how the valance hangs, giving you some flexibility in the amount of window it covers.

It comes as one panel, measuring 50 inches wide by 20 inches long, with a 2.5-inch rod pocket for installation on a suitable valance rod.

Quick overview

This Lazzzy valance is intended for smaller windows in spaces such as a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or laundry room. Its blue floral design on beige linen-blend fabric suits farmhouse, rustic, country and vintage-inspired interiors, though it could also add a patterned accent to a plainer room.

The panel is described as diffusing unwanted light while offering privacy. That makes it a different choice from a full curtain: it leaves more of the window uncovered, which can help keep a room feeling open, but it won’t provide the same coverage as a longer window treatment. For example, above a kitchen sink, it can soften the view without taking up the space around the counter.

Size and fit

At 50 inches wide by 20 inches long, this is a single valance panel rather than a multi-panel curtain set. Check the width of your window and the look you want before choosing it, the product details don’t specify how much fullness it will create across a particular window. The 2.5-inch rod pocket is made to coordinate with most valance rods, but the rod itself is not listed as included.

The tie-up design gives you another way to adjust the length. If you want a fixed, even hem or full window coverage, a conventional curtain may suit your needs better. You may be interested if you want a short decorative layer and some control over how it sits.

Tips for day-to-day use

The panel is machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle and can be tumble dried on low. The care instructions say not to bleach it. Creases from packing can be addressed with an iron or steamer.

Keep in mind that the ties and snaps change the way the panel hangs, but the listed details don’t give a precise range of adjustable lengths. It’s worth allowing for that if you need it to sit at an exact height. It won’t suit you if you need a blackout covering or a complete curtain set for a wider window.

Three specific questions

Does it come with more than one panel? No. The listed set contains one panel.

How does it attach to a rod? It has a 2.5-inch rod pocket at the top and adjustable tie-ups with three snaps.

Can you wash it at home? The care instructions specify a cold machine wash on a gentle cycle and low tumble drying, bleaching is not recommended.

Is it worth it?

This valance is worth considering when a small window needs a patterned, shorter treatment and you like the option of adjusting its ties. The linen-poly blend, floral print and stated care instructions make its everyday purpose fairly clear, while the single-panel format is important to factor into your plans. Choose a longer curtain or a fuller covering instead if privacy, light blocking or complete window coverage matters more than keeping the treatment compact.
