Deconovo blackout curtains, 42 x 72 inches

The triple-weave fabric is designed to reduce incoming light and outside visibility, making these curtains a practical choice for a bedroom or a living room where you want more privacy.

A silver wave pattern adds a decorative detail without relying on a bold all-over print. The greyish-white colour keeps the look relatively light, though it may not darken a room as much as a darker shade.

Each pack includes two panels, with six metal grommets on each one for hanging on a compatible curtain rod. The rod and mounting hardware are not included.

How it looks

The vertical silver curves give the fabric a flowing, slightly metallic look. They make more of a visual statement than plain curtains, while the greyish-white background keeps the pattern from dominating the room. The design is intended to suit bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and home offices, especially if you want a modern decorative accent alongside light control.

In use, the panels can help soften strong daylight across a bedroom or reduce glare during a film in the living room. They are room-darkening rather than a guarantee of a fully dark room: performance depends on colour, window direction and installation, and lighter colours generally block less light than darker ones. If you need the strongest possible darkening, is a pale shade the right trade-off? That is the main compromise to weigh before choosing this colour.

The thermal-insulated fabric is also intended to help reduce heat transfer through windows and support a more comfortable room in different seasons. That may appeal if you want curtains to do more than provide privacy, but the product information does not quantify the effect on room temperature or energy use. Compared with a simple sheer curtain, these panels focus more on reducing light and visibility, they are less suited to someone who wants daylight to pass through freely.

Pros

• Triple-weave fabric is designed to reduce sunlight, glare and outside visibility.
• Silver wave detailing brings pattern and a subtle sheen without a bright colour.
• Two panels are included, each with six metal grommets for everyday opening and closing.
• The fabric is tested to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, and its thermal-insulation design may help moderate heat transfer.

It suits you if you want privacy, a darker setting for rest or screen time, and a patterned finish in one purchase. It is not for you if you need assured blackout performance, prefer plain fabric, or want curtain hardware included. The lighter shade is a specific limitation for buyers whose first priority is blocking as much light as possible.

Spec sheet

• Type: Room-darkening curtains
• Format: Two panels
• Size: 42 inches wide by 72 inches long per panel
• Colour: Greyish white with silver wave pattern
• Material: Polyester
• Hanging: Six metal grommets per panel, rod and mounting hardware not included
• Care: Hand wash in cold water, do not bleach or tumble dry. Hang to dry and cool-iron on the reverse when needed.

The care instructions matter here: the metallic foil pattern calls for a gentler routine than curtains that can simply go in a tumble dryer. By design, these panels combine a decorative finish with light control, but the lighter colour makes them a better fit for softening daylight than for guaranteeing a pitch-dark room.

What I’d decide

Choose these if the silver wave pattern suits your room and you want a pair of curtains that can add privacy, reduce glare and help soften incoming light. They may also be worth considering if you want a thermal-insulated design, while keeping expectations measured because no specific insulation result is provided. If dependable near-total darkness matters more than the greyish-white look, a darker room-darkening curtain is the more sensible direction. Remember to account for the curtain rod separately, since it is not included.
