The candles are designed for freestanding tabletop placement, so they can be arranged on a patio table, beside a garden feature or along a mantel without needing a candle holder. For outdoor displays, the waterproof construction and sealed battery compartment make them suitable for exposure to rain and spray. Keep them out of standing water or submerged positions.
The remote lets you choose the brightness, light mode and timer from a distance, which is useful when the candles are set on a high mantel or placed within a decorative arrangement. Select a timer duration and the daily cycle turns the lights on and off at the same time each day. Each candle takes two AA batteries, for four AA batteries across the pair, these are not included. The remote’s CR2025 button battery is pre-installed. Keep button batteries away from children and pets.
What it works with
At 3" in diameter and 6" high, each candle suits a lantern or other decorative container with internal space larger than those measurements. The set can also be displayed on its own on a patio, in a garden or indoors. For a lantern arrangement, check that the candle can sit freely inside and that the remote can be used to reach the controls. Its tabletop, freestanding design also makes it easy to move between seasonal displays and everyday décor.
Who it’s for
These candles suit anyone looking for a candle-inspired accent for outdoor gatherings, garden displays, patios or indoor spaces such as a bedroom. They provide the visual effect of a lit pillar candle without a real flame, while the choice of flicker or steady glow and adjustable brightness lets you tailor the look of a display. Buyers particularly appreciate the realistic appearance and the ability to dim the light, as well as the convenience of setting brightness and timers with the remote.
When it makes sense
Choose this set when you want two matching decorative lights that can be placed together and operated with less hands-on switching. For example, set them on a patio table before an evening gathering, choose a glow and timer duration, and let the daily cycle handle the regular on-and-off routine. Compared with décor that needs manual switching each time, the timer and remote offer a more convenient way to manage a recurring display. It makes sense if you want flameless pillar-style lighting for a lantern, mantel or outdoor setting, with control over both brightness and light mode.
