Zakkart CWP103-BR Mellow 3-Sided Cat Window Perch, XL, Dual-Mount
Product description
Give your cat a roomy place to lounge and watch the outdoors right by the window. The Zakkart Mellow perch offers two mounting options to suit different wooden windowsills. Could a dedicated sunny spot make window watching more comfortable? Its open-front design keeps the view accessible while the soft bed gives your cat space to curl up or stretch out.
Size & fit
The XL bed measures 27 x 15.5 inches, with the complete perch measuring 27 x 15.5 x 6 inches. It is designed for cats and supports up to 40 lbs, making it a spacious window-side resting place for lounging, stretching, and watching activity outside. The three-sided shape gives the bed a defined resting area while leaving the front open for an unobstructed approach and view.
Choose the mounting method based on the sill. For a hook-on installation, the sill needs a slot at least 0.5 inches deep, the adjustable bracket fits sills up to 9 inches deep. If the sill has no slot, the base can be secured to a wooden sill with four screws. This gives shoppers a choice between a removable hook-on arrangement and a screw-mounted base, rather than relying on suction cups. Assembly instructions are provided.
What you’ll notice day to day
The ABS and metal frame supports the perch for everyday lounging, climbing, and stretching. The polyester bed has a soft, scratch-resistant cushion, and its open front lets a cat settle in while keeping the window view in sight. For a typical sunny afternoon, the perch creates a dedicated spot where a cat can rest and watch the outdoors without taking over the whole windowsill.
The bed releases with a press of the spring button, so it can be removed for machine washing. A sewn-in fabric tunnel keeps it attached to the frame during use, combining a removable bed with a sewn connection. Buyers particularly highlight the perch’s cute appearance and sturdy feel, which complement its practical role as a window-side resting spot.

What to clarify
What does the hook-on mount require? The windowsill needs a slot at least 0.5 inches deep. The adjustable bracket fits windowsills up to 9 inches deep, so measure the sill and check for a suitable slot before choosing this setup.
Can it be mounted on a sill without a slot? Yes. The base can be fastened with four screws on a wooden windowsill. The frame can then be removed using its built-in pin design while the mounted anchor stays in place.
How do you clean the bed? Press the spring button to release the bed, then machine wash it. It can also be tumble dried on low.
Final verdict
For cat owners looking to turn a windowsill into a dedicated lounging spot, the XL Mellow combines a roomy, washable bed with a choice of hook-on or screw-on mounting. Its open-front view, 40 lb support capacity, and removable frame design make it a practical fit for a cat’s everyday window-side routine.
