Sized for a queen mattress, this steel platform frame measures 80 inches long by 60 inches wide. Its 14-inch profile gives the bed a defined presence while leaving 12.4 inches of clearance underneath for storage.

The platform design supports a standard 60 x 80-inch queen mattress directly, so you can set up the bed without a box spring. Reinforced slats, a cross-braced center support, and 11 support legs distribute weight across the frame.

Everyday use

The open space beneath the frame makes room for storage bins, shoes, books, or luggage, helping keep bedroom essentials close without taking up floor space elsewhere. For example, bins can slide under the bed to make seasonal items easier to organize while keeping the sleeping area clear.

Noise-conscious details are built into the metal construction: secure-fit plastic end caps help keep the slats seated, while riveted joints and grippy foot caps are designed to limit movement and rattling. These features support a more settled setup as you move in bed.

Assembly is designed for a straightforward setup. Preassembled quick-open side rails form the base, and interlocking corner joints use two screws each. Numbered parts, illustrated instructions, and included tools help guide the process, the product details describe an approximately 15-minute solo setup. The frame can also be disassembled for a move and assembled again using the labeled parts and instructions.

Compared with a traditional bed setup that uses a separate box spring, this platform frame supports the queen mattress directly. Pre-drilled mounting holes at both the head and foot allow attachment of a compatible headboard or footboard, giving you the option to personalize the bedroom setup.
