XinDoingNow MGG-B-1C-16C-2G Black Steel Pipe Fittings, 1" x 16", 2-Pack
Product description
Build a custom shelf, towel rack, or other industrial-style decor with these black steel pipe fittings. Each pipe measures 1" x 16" and has threads at both ends for decorative DIY projects. A pre-painted, dual-coated finish gives your design a consistent black look without a separate painting step. The set includes two pieces.
Tips for day-to-day use
Use these fittings as building elements for projects such as shelves, storage racks, shoe cabinets, handrails, chairs, or bathroom accessories. For example, a pair can become part of a custom support for a computer shelf or a simple holder for household items. Their black finish suits projects where exposed pipe is part of the industrial look, rather than something to conceal.
The threads are not fully compatible with standard NPT threads, so check the thread size and fit against the parts in your design before assembling. These fittings are intended for decorative DIY use, not water or gas plumbing. Keeping that distinction in mind helps direct them toward furniture and home-decor projects where their appearance and threaded ends are useful.

What stands out
The pre-coated finish is a practical choice for a project where you want the pipe to look finished as soon as it is assembled. Unlike bare pipe that may call for a separate spray-painting step, these pieces arrive with a uniform black coating. Their dual coating is described as rust-resistant, helping maintain a neat appearance during indoor decorative use and reducing the chance of rust stains on walls or furniture.
The 1" x 16" format gives you a defined size to plan around, while the threaded ends make the fittings suitable for designs built from compatible components. XinDoingNow also offers other sizes and colors, so the range can support different DIY layouts, this particular set is the black, 1" x 16" option. Buyers have described the fittings positively for perceived quality, with one noting use for computer shelving. Feedback on compatibility is mixed, making the stated thread fit an important consideration when pairing them with other parts.
